As the owner of this rental, Lake Cumberland holds a special place in my heart. I've been coming here for over 10 years, and even though I live in Northern Kentucky, I still make the trip down any weekend I can fit it into my schedule. There's nothing I enjoy more than being out on the water and soaking in everything this beautiful area has to offer. I'm a Realtor by trade and love meeting new people, so sharing this home and helping others create their own lake memories has been a true joy.

We originally chose this location for its unbeatable access to Burnside Marina—just a short walk away. But we quickly discovered so much more to love. Friendly neighbors, small-town charm, and endless activities make this spot truly special. From golfing at General Burnside Island to exploring scenic nature trails, there’s no shortage of outdoor fun. And when it's time to unwind, Somerset offers everything from restaurants galore to a movie theater, mini golf, go-karts, and arcades.

There’s ample parking for multiple vehicles and boats—no need to worry about space. Enjoy evenings on the brand-new oversized deck, just steps from a local park and an easy walk to Burnside Marina. And for a truly special touch, you can watch the Fourth of July fireworks right from the house—no crowds, just front-row views from your own private retreat.
