Spring Training House

We four men stayed here in March 2018 to watch baseball and hike. Location was ideal for parks in Scottsdale, Glendale, Surprise, and Peoria areas. The house was nicely equipped and very comfortable. Nice grill area, pool and hot tub. Fry's grocery store has everything you'd need and the beer and wine bar were a nice touch. We enjoyed our stay very much. John, Jim, Bob, and Frank..... Great home. Great location. Perfect for our family of six adults and our 2 year old grandson.

The 3 bedroom house and a separate casita gave us all our own private spaces. And the open living and dining room gave us a great gathering space. The pool was perfect for our two year old with the shallow area for him to play and splash. We spent as much time in the covered outdoor patio as we could. We were in the sun, out of the sun, in the pool or just watching. It is a very usable outdoor space. We used the BBQ three nights for dinner. The house is easy access to 303 and the 101 so it was easy to get anywhere. We were there to watch some spring training games. It was easy to get to the west side ballparks. Already planning for next year. Owner was a great help. Easy to work with and easy contact during our stay. We had no problems. Looking forward to next year.

A mini resort

This is a superb house and property. It is incredibly spacious with large bedrooms and living spaces. The ceilings are very high, giving the sense of real luxury and something quite out of the ordinary. The yard, in comparison, is modestly sized but perfectly fine for family/friend gatherings The pool was inviting and well cared for. Really, everything was in great condition. Like staying in a nice resort, though with the control and privacy you could not get there. I would stay there again without hesitation. A great vacation experience for me and for the family living in Phoenix who came and enjoyed the property with me. I thought it looked good, but it is better than good.

Almost Perfection

I want to first start out by saying that this home, our overall vacation, and owner were really great! We had a blast, loved the house and we would stay here again. These next several things are really minor, but this is what held me back from giving the property a 10 out of 10 review. I know these may not matter to everyone, but seeing as how this is the 4th house we have rented through HomeAway over the past 4 years, these are the things we noticed. The overall cleanliness of the house was average. The floors were very dirty and when walking around barefoot your feet were black at the end of the day. I think it just needs a good old scrubbing. The owners have a dog and the dog hair is everywhere. In between the couch cushions, in the drawer under the oven, and on the decorative pillows on the couch. The bath mats in the casita bathroom were supposed to be white but they were stained dark brown. They just needed a little bleach and a good washing/soak. There are absolutely no extra linens. The house advertises that the couch in the bonus room can be used to sleep on, but there are no pillows or linens for it. There are also no blankets to use when watching a movie on the couch. There is no house manual. Everything is somewhat self explanatory, but no directions on how to use the indoor and outdoor speakers in the ceiling. That would have been nice to use as we love to play music while sitting at the pool. The pool and spa worked great until it became cloudy on day 6. The response from the owner was that the pool guy would be there within the next two days. The pool guy told us that the pump needed to be cleaned and flushed. When the spa stopped working (jets) the pool guy said it was because of the pump needing to be cleaned. There is very minimal paper products. Only one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom. We don’t mind having to buy our own, but it would have been nice to know that it was not included. There is also no laundry detergent to wash towels. When staying there for 8 nights with a family, washing of linens needs to be done. This was always provided for us in our other rentals. It’s ok if it isn’t, but it was not communicated to us. Just would have been nice to know. Overall these are minor, but still need to be addressed. Maybe a new cleaning crew is needed? Thanks for hosting us Joe! Hope you find the insights helpful. We would stay again for sure!

Fabulous vacation home!!!

There is nothing you need that this home does not have for a short or extended stay. We spent 6 fabulous weeks enjoying this resort style house. The backyard was an oasis with a heated pool, hot tub and outdoor barbecue area. We spent the majority of our time outside. With four bedrooms (one a separate casita) we had plenty of room for our larger extended family to visit. Our host was very helpful and responsive to anything we needed. We will be back!!

Beautiful Place to Relax and Enjoy the Area!

We have used VRBO frequently and by far this is the best place we have stayed. Very clean and plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook both inside and outside on the grill - and we cooked/grilled just about everyday we were here. Though the weather didn't always cooperate on this trip we still could put on our jackets and enjoy the outdoor space under the overhang. Great walking path right outside the door with Fry's grocery store just down the road to pick up what we may have forgotten. Joe was always available if we had a question - which was great!

Even nicer than advertised

The pictures don't do this house justice. We loved everything and were amazed at how nice and clean it was. North Phoenix is quiet and this house definitely had that suburban feel to it. We would absolutely stay here again.

A Great Stay in Phoenix

The house was spacious with a great lay out inside and out.It was also clean and beautiful decorated. It's close to hiking trails and about 20 minutes from Peoria. Joe was quick to respond, friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend this home,

The house was amazing!

I highly recommend this property!! We stayed with two families including 5 teenage boys and had plenty of room. The beds were cozy, the pool had a great set up for nightly water volleyball games, while watching ball games on the outdoor TV. Thank you Joe for being a wonderful host! I am sure we will be back!!

Amazing home with every possible amenity!

Joe was awesome to work with. He was immediately available with answers to any questions I had. The home is immaculate, beautifully decorated, very clean with great pool and outdoor area. This place is meant for entertaining and has a great central room with bedrooms that are non-adjacent for privacy. Bedrooms and bathrooms are large, beds are comfy and even the sheets were amazing. Close to the highway and within 15-20 minutes of the places you want to be. We will definitely stay again if available. Thanks, Joe!

Post wedding landing pad

My daughter was married on a Saturday in Scottsdale we had a great family event there. Then we came to the North Phoenix Desert Oasis for five great nights. The place is spacious and spread out nicely with a wide open kitchen, family room, and dining room area. Bedrooms are great and the master is fabulous. The pool was very nice with lots of shady seating and more than enough sunshine as we had great weather. We had a couple family get together's and took a couple day trips to Sedona and Grand Canyon as the house is conveniently close to 17. It's a great place in a great neighborhood!!

Great extended family home. Nice area. Pool works for everyone.

We love the outside area. Pool, patio, side yard and BBQ are great. Grandkids were exhausted everyday from swimming all day. We took evening walks around the neighborhood. Casita was a nice setting for grandma and grandpa.

Beautiful home! Perfect for our couples getaway!!

We really enjoyed our time at this property. It was clean and beautifully furnished. The pool and outdoor space were where we spent most of our time. Joe was very responsive and professional throughout the process. We would definitely recommend this place!!

Lovely Home

My girlfriends and I have stayed at this property twice and we loved it so much we booked it for a third time. The house is beautifully decorated. Backyard and pool is very nice. All the bedrooms and baths are stunning. We had a wonderful time. Owner is responsive and polite.

Beautiful Home, wonderfully staged.

Beautiful Home, wonderfully staged. Kids enjoyed the pool and we enjoyed the grilling area. Outdoor furniture was full of mice droppings but I guess that is to be expected since its out in the desert. But overall, great experience!

Awesome place.

Hi Jon We love the place ! I only had one problem with the pool it was very dirty I spent 45 minutes cleaning it and found a dead mouse in the Hot tub area lucky I didn't tell the women or else they would not of got in the pool. I do want to rent it again the first weekend of December so I will keep in touch with you. P.S if your ever going to sell your property please let me know. Thank you Pete

Excellent stay

Property was very clean on arrival. Spacious rooms. Our kids had a blast! One thing I would tell incoming residents is to request the pool temperature and hot tube to be increased the day before a stay. May not be necessary as summer heat approaches.

Excellently appointed home that exceeded our expectations!

This gorgeous home has it all, from spaciousness of floor plan to beauty everywhere you look inside or out. A true family memory maker for our four generations! My parents in the casita, our grandson in the pack 'n play (Joe has everything!) and our whole family in the pool (which has a wonderful square first step level that is a perfect wading area for a baby, and has an umbrella docket so you can shade it!), formal dining room, outdoor living room or indoor amazing sectional sofa. Great kitchen, we made all meals except dinner one evening in Cave Creek. The casual table in the kitchen was just the perfect spot for a jigsaw puzzle that our son in law completed with my dad. We left it for future guests to bond over! I'm picky about kitchens since we were cooking for 8 three times a day - and this one was perfect, down to the 12-cup coffee pot AND Kuerig. Lovely glassware, serving ware and all the basics to get you started, which some VRBOs don't have. (Olive oil, S&P, coffee filters, detergent, garbage bags, paper towels, extra ice bags, etc.) The home has an amazing sound system and with no neighbors on either side or behind us we enjoyed late night dancing to the firelight by the pool. The only thing wrong with it was having to leave! We're hoping to return next year. Thank you, Joe, for all the extra nice touches that really set your place apart!

Beautiful house, so very nice.

House was so nice, owner was so easy to get ahold of, great owners.i have rented in Arizona before and by far this had to be the best house we have stayed in. Location was awesome. I am going to reserve house again. Thanks again to owners for a great vacation.

Great location, beautiful house

Good location in the desert close to the quirky town of Cave Creek and within easy reach of some very good golf courses. Lovely house, pool and patio. House in gated community. Owner Joe very helpful but non intrusive during our stay. Highly recommend.
