The Space:
Indoors and out, this trip is sure to be one for the books. Perched atop a hillside just 5 miles outside of town, this dream cabin offers panoramic vistas of the surrounding landscape with oodles of exciting amenities to keep you busy no matter the season. Shoot a round or 2 of pool in the loft as you gaze out the large picture windows or take in the abundance of fresh air as you soak all your cares away in the outdoor hot tub. Or maybe it’s foosball on the main level that will get your heart racing as you squeeze in a game before dinner. Up for a swim? The lower-level indoor pool is the perfect retreat for exercise or a fun-filled afternoon. Adventure away from the home is just as thrilling, with trailheads for hiking and biking right nearby as well as plentiful attractions in and around Gatlinburg including the Treetop Skywalk at Anakeesta, Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies, wineries, mountain coasters, mini golf, and a wide variety of dining and shopping.

Apart from the games and accessories, the interior of the cabin is also designed for relaxation and enjoying your moments of downtime in private and communal spaces alike. Stream your favorite movie on the mounted smart TV in the living room as you stretch out on the plush sofa seating. In the cooler months, the flip of a switch provides warmth and ambiance to the space courtesy of the gas fireplace. The kitchen is a chef’s dream, fully equipped with stainless steel appliances and rich cabinetry stocked with cookware and dining ware for all your culinary needs. Meal prep is made easy at the spacious island with high-top barstool seating for 3, while formal dining can be held at the table steps away with seating for 4.

This home comfortably sleeps 9 guests between 2 private bedrooms and a loft.

Bedroom #1 includes a king size bed, smart TV, deck access, and ensuite bathroom with a single vanity and shower/Jacuzzi tub combo.

Bedroom #2 includes a king size bed, smart TV, deck access, and ensuite bathroom with a single vanity and shower/Jacuzzi tub combo.

The loft includes a full-over-full bunk bed with a twin trundle, along with a smart TV and ensuite bathroom with a single vanity and shower/Jacuzzi tub combo.

The home also includes a half bathroom as well as an additional full guest bathroom with a pedestal sink and walk-in shower.

This cabin was absolutely amazing for my small group. We had a Mommy getaway weekend, and the kids loved it. The view is amazing. The amenities were beyond expected. The cabin was super clean and had everything we needed.

This place is really nice. We enjoyed the pool and game room upstairs. It was nice having a jacuzzi tub in every bedroom. We saw bears every night we was up there. Very good location, close to everything in Gatlinburg. Definitely recommend staying here, we had a blast and will be back again

One of the best aspects of the property was the view, along with the proximity to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The cabin was clean and everything worked as required. The kitchen was stocked with clean and usable dishes which helped.

We had a wonderful stay celebrating my sons and I birthday. The cabin was in a great location and the view is breathtaking. The drive up is a bit scary at night if you miss the bypass or coming up from downtown but it’s not bad during the day. I wish I would have known the pool entrance is outside. There is no access from the house to the pool. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and communication with the property was great. We did see bears twice, once at night driving back to the cabin and the next day driving down to Anakeesta.

Everything was smooth n perfect

I had zero issues the cabin was as described the kiddos loved the pool and gotta tub .. the view n seeing the black bears were a great surprise not far at all from either town pigeon forge or gaitlinburg about 15 minutes each way.. I will be renting this cabin again forsure

Beautiful Views

We had a few issues during our stay but they were resolved for the most part. The beds were super comfortable and the views can't be beat. We enjoyed the hot tub nightly after being tourists during the day. We used the pool a couple times but it was a little difficult getting in and out without a railing. We saw quite a few bears during our stay. It rained while we were there and it was a beautiful sound and sight in the mountains.

3 Day Getaway!!!

The view is amazing!!! We enjoyed our stay, the cabin was perfect for our family, would stay here again!!! Love that the pool area had full bathroom!!!! The price was very affordable and had everything we was looking for to relax and enjoy our getaway!!!

We reserved this property for 4 days but we couldn’t even stay there for two days. We left early because there were rats and bugs, everything was very dirty. Also, there was a construction going on next to the house. The dust was everywhere and the noise was disturbing us. Nobody let us know about that before we reserved.I contacted the management for help, they said someone was going to come to check on rats and stuff but nobody ever came. I asked for a refund for the days we didn’t stay but they denied that.This was the worst vacation ever for us.

We had a great time because as a family we made it work, but from the time we arrived I texted about the pool being dirty and there was mold/mildew on the walls, and around vents, which is a very very major health problem. I kept being told someone will reach out to me, but let’s just say no one ever showed up and they only communicated with me when I reached out to them. It was always we’re so sorry, we’re reaching out to them now blah blah blah. I would put the pictures up but since I’m dealing with this the legal way I will not do that. Just be aware, and check everything out before you get settled in.

The location is nice. You get a view of the mountains, but also the neighborhood and street that the cabin is on. Traffic through the area is a little noisy, especially when a truck is coming up the street. Upon arriving the cabin right next to us was under construction, so we got to hear the noise of a saw and nailing. When we entered the cabin we noticed there were no blankets on any of the beds, nor were there sufficient amount of towels. We had to call the management company, who had to go to the store and get us blankets. We checked the pool. It was freezing. And it’s not heated, so you can’t use the pool in the colder months. Plus it was dirty, there was mold in the pool area, and there were grasshoppers in the pool area (window and screen were broken and open, causing that pool room to be cold. The management team had to fix the bunk bed cause it was so loose, we were afraid it would fall on our kids. Also, had to fix the fireplace cause it wasn’t lighting.Oh! There was blood on our toilet! That was a gross surprise. Plus at night a huge amount of gnats would come into the cabin, especially in the kitchen area and get all over the food. Overall it was an meh experience. The house needs work no doubt and needs to be updated. The tubs barely work (I thought for a minute the faucet wouldn’t turn off and we would have to get a plumber out.) The actual faucet came off in my hand. The area where the trash is located is so difficult to get to. It should in the front

Gorgeous cabin!!!

The view was amazing from the balcony! You can see the sunsets and sunrises from the hot tub, and have a gorgeous view of the mountains from any porch and bedroom. We saw three bear cubs our first day there! 10/10 would go back again, it was such a relaxing cabin

This house is more beautiful in person than the pictures! We got to see a family of bears every night, I guess that’s why it’s called little cub retreat. We will be back again!

Amazing Cabin!

We had a great time! It was totally worth it!! If we ever come back we will definitely book here again! It was enjoyable for all ages. To top it all off we got to see ALOT of bears and wild turkeys from the comfort of the private decks! Thanks for accommodating us!!

View is stunning. Hot tub on balcony is amazing. That's where the good of this property ends. Private pool was okay just more like a giant hot tub. The bathroom in pool room was full of black mold. Our first night we had to launder all of our bedding as there was hair and mouse droppings in the bed. The drawers located under the beds also had hair and mouse poop. The ac in loft bedroom was full of black mold. The tubs in all 3 rooms were dirty. We had mouse droppings on the counter tops and on the dishes in the cupboards that we were expected to use. I contacted the rental company who said they would send someone to address the issues. We waited the next morning for someone to come so we could show them what needed addressed and no one came so we left for the day. Upon return we noticed someone had swept wood shavings up where a mouse had tried to gnaw through the drawer where the trash can was located but that was all that was done. We contacted them and we got a generic response of they tried their best. There was no effort on their end to rectify the very dangerous condition of this cabin. Black mold and mouse feces and urine should not have been present. If you have children I urge you to pick another cabin. Mine did not get to enjoy this stay.

Excellent Deal for Mountaintop Family Getaway!

We had a lovely vacation here and would not hesitate to stay again! The views from the decks are impeccable of the Smoky Mountains and both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The amenities in the cabin entertained the kids for days. Its location was convenient to all of the things we wanted to do in the area, too. Take the name of the cabin literally, though. One evening, we saw two bears by the cabin! Just make sure to lock your car doors because they will try to open them. The cabin is starting to show its age though. There were cobwebs and dust throughout. The indoor pool had visible mold on the drywall— which is to be expected for a moist and not extremely well ventilated space. During our stay, the single HVAC unit struggled to cool all floors, but it was also the hottest week of the year so far. It needs a little TLC, but not enough to dissuade me from rebooking. On the flip side, the age of the cabin made it beautiful with the flooring and walls on the main levels. One thing to be aware of before booking if you aren’t familiar with driving true mountain roads— there are very steep hills and switchbacks on the way up or down with no streetlights and narrow roads. We had no issues driving it since I used to live in the mountains, but other family members did. However, the drive makes for the BEST view and it’s worth it. Just drive up slow and carefully, then shift into lower gears and not ride your brakes down. All this to say, we loved our stay and would come back!

Warning

My husband, brother, sister in law and I (who are all over 50) had a wonderful trip in this beautiful cabin. However, nearly two weeks after our stay we were charged for things we did not use that they said were broken in rooms we did not occupy. WARNING DO NOT STAY HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE CHARGED FOR THINGS YOU DID NOT BREAK. We travel often and have never had this issue. I contacted the host/owner and didn’t get an answer as to why it took two weeks for them to claim we broke things. We are responsible adults and would have reported any property damage.

Anniversary and vacation

We came in on a Saturday with seafood we had brought from home to cook for a nice meal. We got there everything looked great we were so happy. Well we realized the refrigerator and freezer was broke. We lost all our food. $50 worth of crablegs and shrimp. Not to mention other things we brought from home. We got up with the people who were supposed to take care of it. Needless to say the whole week they did not fix it call us back or compensate us for anything!! We had planned on cooking on our trip to save money. Needless to say we had to end up eating every meal out. It cost us so much money we didn’t have extra money for anything. It made our vacation very stressful!! Do not stay here because if there is any problems they will not respond and help you with your problem!!!
