We loved our short but sweet stay in this charming, nicely updated old farmhouse. Comfy beds and thoughtful touches everywhere. Great communication with the host, The house was very clean , and in a great location for enjoying the Marquette area restaurants, museums, shopping. We appreciated the air conditioning because of the smoky air quality caused by fires in the Boundary Waters area. We hope to stay here the next time we visit our family who live nearby.

I would give more than five stars if I could. The house is tastefully newly remodeled and is an architectural gem. Looks and feels better than pics can convey. The setting is beautiful. 15 min, straight shot drive from downtown Marquette. Impeccably clean and stocked with everything we found ourselves needing. This is including laundry and bathroom supplies, extra sheets and towels. We are so happy we picked this one.

Our stay was incredible. Our hosts went above and beyond providing everything we could possibly need. We made wonderful memories sitting around the table playing games from the game closet. Everything was so clean and beds were amazingly comfortable. The Yalmar House is such a special place. The location is convenient for visiting all our favorite things in and around Marquette. We highly recommend staying here!
