Welcome to the cabin! The home is only 1 hour from the Twin Cities and steps from the lake. It is the perfect getaway to relax, unwind, and enjoy the outdoors. Fish, swim, play yard games during the day and roast marshmallows at the bonfire in the evening. The space is ideal for families, plenty of space with two separate living rooms and a large lake-side deck. The home has reliable high-speed wifi, 4 TVs, and a well stocked and spacious kitchen. Short drive to downtown Balsam Lake or Turtle Lake casino!

Great stay at a peaceful, lovely location. The home was very clean, spacious and well appointed. It had everything we needed. Loved hearing the loons on the lake morning and evening plus lovely sunsets. Would stay again!

this is our second time staying with john. this is a great property. very nice roomy cabin and very clean. would definitely book this property again.

Pros, House was clean and roomy they had everything you need (kitchen supplies) lots of games for all ages. And The Beds were comfy. cons, we had to go way out to swim because all of the lily pads around the front, host didnt get back to me when asked about coffee machine what kind so I know what coffee or filters I needed ( coffee maker kurig pods or a pot) and what kind of grill gas or charcoal (it is propane but it is small (needs a new one) overall we all had a good relaxing time would go again

We had a great time at this cabin. My family was in town for a family reunion and we loved the location and peacefulness of the cabin. We especially enjoyed the spacious patio and fire pit. We would for sure book again!

The view was beautiful. The house was clean and had plenty of space for us. Beautiful sunset views from the deck. The lake was warm for swimming. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Family weekend

Our stay was a great time for the family to get together. We had plenty of room for everyone. 6 adaults, 2 children and a baby. Even though it was rainy and cloudy each day we were able to get outside most of the weekend. It was a great weekend for us. Thank you so much

Overall nice property and quiet. Was a little disappointed we couldn’t have a fire because they had pulled the dock and boat-lift out of the lake and it was too close to the fire pit to have a fire. Also was woken up multiple times late at night by what sounded like tannerite. It sounded so loud like it was next door and shook the house. This is at no fault of the owners, just a heads up if you come with littles who are lite sleepers.

We have stayed at quite a few VRBOs and I book almost solely on reviews! This place was magical for my family of 4 (the kids slept in one room, my husband and I had out own rooms - which is what we prefer so we loved that!). The floor plan is really cool, with two living rooms, and the room with the bunk beds for kids is so nice! The lake was beautiful and there’s all kinds of things to do in the area. UberEats acted like they were going to deliver twice and we got canceled on both times, so don’t use them. Overall, it was so quiet and peaceful! We didn’t see any other people the entire week!!! There is a lily pad in some of the pictures advertised but there isn’t an available swimming lily pad to use (we had planned on it for swimming purposes, so just fyi). We did use the paddleboat, which was awesome!We’d stay again. The hosts were great and super responsive, which I so appreciated! I attached pics from the week at the lake!
Lots of space for meals or crafts.

Hubby had to work all week but it was a nice place to work!

We all enjoyed our stay. We had everything we needed. The location is great. We slept well, plenty of linens, we used the deck with nice lighting at night, the bonfire area accommodated all six of us with more seats if needed. There were tools for s'mores!!! Bonus. There are 2 living areas and tvs in almost every room, for those down days if needed. Oh my personal favorite was strong water pressure in the shower! John was very responsive and quick to answer any questions.

Fantastic little piece of paradise. Clean, comfortable, relaxing, easy to contact the host, near a wonderful state park. I will absolutely stay here again in the future.
