This was a wonderful property for our group of 3 families, all with small children under 4. The family bedrooms worked really well to fit each family. The downstairs bedroom is too small to really sleep more than 1 or 2. We also enjoyed the large kitchen, dining room, and living areas. The house is very clean and, aside from the lack of child safety gates for the stairs, is perfect for small children. The playroom was a big hit!
The reason this property has 4, rather than 5, stars is due to an issue with Vacasa management rather than with the house itself. The information for this property mentions that, among the many amenities and items available at the house, are a crib and slow cooker / crockpot. In addition, there is also reference to a shared hot tub and sauna facility. We called Vacasa the morning of our second day (out of 4) at the house to inquire as to the whereabouts of the crib and slow cooker, as well as the location of the shared hot tub and sauna. Fred, who answered the call, basically told us he couldn't help us with the crib and slow cooker as he had never been to the house and there were no notes for the house on these items -- that was understandable and we could live with that, but wished the information on the property was updated so we did not arrive thinking we could go with bringing one less portable crib and planning for slow cooker recipes after long days of skiing.
Regarding the whereabouts of the hot tub and sauna, however, Fred owed me a call back which he never returned. We scoured the whole house and found recreation passes and the house binder also makes reference to the shared amenities, but we were unable to figure out exactly where these amenities were and there was no address for an amenity center. We could see a hot tub on our neighbour's porch, but presumably, that belonged to the neighbour unless we were advised otherwise.
Overall, a great house, but I am disappointed by Vacasa property management's lack of response.
