Arboretum Garden Apartment

A cozy private living area, kitchenette (microwave, toaster oven, refrigerator), bedroom with Queen-sized bed and bath with tub and shower. There is a couch in the living room and a small adult or child can sleep there. Extra sheets are provided. It is not a sleeper sofa, it is just a regular sofa. Located in Madison Valley, across the street from the Arboretum, the unit has a separate garden entrance with ample street parking in a quiet neighborhood. Major bus lines only 4 blocks away take you to Capitol Hill, Downtown, UW and the Central District in less than 20 minutes. Strong WiFi and Netflix. Perfect for 1 or 2 people, and possibly a child or small adult - all backgrounds are welcome in my home.

Lovely stay. Great location within steps of the arboretum and walking distance to several restaurants and coffee shops. Host checked in to make sure I had everything I needed. Would definitely stay there again.

Great accommodations. A couple of blocks from the bus line. Around the corner from Mt.Bagel (yum!!). The bed was very comfortable.

Yes, the apartment was comfortable, had all the essentials we needed and the host was friendly and responsive each time I messaged her. It is in a lovely neighborhood - safe and friendly with generous on street parking. We hope to stay there again.

Convenient to the bus line, the host was able to guide us from the bus line to the apartment which got us started on using the bus. Bed was very comfortable. We were there kind of out of season, but I bet the backyard was like a secret garden in the spring or summer. Very private and very quiet.

The room and living area were amazing and Carmen as a host was wonderful and easy to communicate with. Not too far from any major areas and has amazing small businesses near by. My girlfriend and I would 100% love to stay there again

The garden apartment is just lovely! It's a perfect getaway spot-very cozy, well stocked and private. It's also an easy walk to Madison St. and to the Arboretum. I was there to see my daughter at Seattle U, so for any SU parents this is a great spot-easy 10 minute drive to campus. Would definitely stay again. Thanks Carmen!

We enjoyed thoroughly our stay in Carmen’s garden apartment, it so private, quiet, and comfortable with the pleasure of viewing nothing but green through its French doors. Beautiful stay in a quaint, pretty neighborhood. Very close to the Japanese garden, the East MLK bus stop for easy transit, and a nice little shopping district with delicious restaurants. Close enough to downtown to get there in 30 min by bus, and felt like a quiet escape from the hustle and bustle. House rules were very reasonable. Check in and check-out were well-explained and straightforward. Host was friendly and communicative. Bed was super comfy, and the backyard was beautiful. My boyfriend and I will definitely stay here again if we come back to Seattle. We had a wonderful time!

The place was adorable, although the bathroom had mold on the ceiling that was pretty significant. Otherwise, we really enjoyed the area and the stay.

I was born in Mexico, but have lived in Seattle for over 20 years. When my sons grew up and left the house, I decided to rent part of it through Vrbo. I have two dogs, Chester and Gus, and live upstairs with them and my partner. We love to take walks in the Arboretum, that is across the street, and we love to cook.

The neighborhood is close to main transportation lines to downtown and the University district. We are also close to Madison Street (4 blocks) with its restaurants and shops. The best thing about my neighborhood, however, is the Arboretum, a huge beautiful park with miles of trails and gardens.
