The host was very responsive to all my inquiries. This place was so well stick with so many extras! Beach chairs, beach toys, books, games was amazing!! The outdoor hammocks were amazing the short walk to the beach was perfect for our littles. The outdoor shower was a nice touch. We can’t wait to stay again!

Our family chose this rental for a long weekend get together. The accommodations were beyond our expectations. The house was so comfortable not to mention beyond well stocked. It was a short walk to the beach With ample parking. The host was quick to answer any questions and check in could not have been easier. We will stay again!

Comfortable beds, great location

We enjoyed a friend getaway in this spacious cottage! Everyone commented on the comfortable beds. We loved our quick walk to the beach. Enjoying our meals on the screened in porch was delightful. Check in and communication with the host was easy and efficient. I'd highly recommend booking your Outer Banks vacation hete!

Great location and spacious home

This house is in a great location with some ocean views from the front deck. There is plenty of space in the upstairs area in the dining and living room for a family of 8. Some of the furniture is outdated like in the living room and some of the bedrooms. Overall, the house was clean and the appliances in the kitchen and laundry room all worked great. There were plenty of beach toys for the kids as well as beach chairs provided and a bike. The hostess Christie was very responsive and kind throughout the whole process. Would definitely recommend if looking for a home near the beach!

Better than expected!

Location! Location! This house is truly a two minute walk to the beach, which meant easy access during the day, frequent morning walks, and nighttime crab watching with my grandson who brought a flashlight. We were pleasantly surprised at how spacious this listing was; as the pictures didnt do it justice. The personal touches were much appreciated too. Games, puzzles, and an extensive library for beach reads. I enjoyed one of the three patios for just this reason. Our host, Christie, was kind, responsive, and professional. Everything was just as listed, and check-in was a breeze. Will definitely return at a future date!

Would definitely recommend

The property was larger than we thought and had many useful items that we didn’t think to bring. There were lots of games to play very nice enclosed porch for rainy days. Good washer and dryer and outdoor shower.

Great location, great for kids.

Such a short walk to the beach, and tons of board games/puzzles/books for kids. You really can’t go wrong here. My only complaint is that the grill was not usable, but I informed the owner and they are going to replace it. Would definitely return.

Loved the proximity to the beach

Our family really enjoyed our stay. Christie was great- she promptly responded to all my emails and even carved out some time to discuss some questions I had. I loved being so close to the beach- it was incredibly convenient if we needed to run back to grab something or to take a break and then return to the beach later. Would definitely recommend staying at this property

Homey Spacious Cottage Close to Beach

Our whole family, several adults and two kids, really enjoyed our stay in this clean, homelike, spacious, and well-appointed cottage. We all loved the multiple decks, screened rooms, hammock and multiple outdoor chairs, large great room area and dining table, nice clean well-appointed kitchen, and multiple bedrooms. We appreciated all the games and books too, and shells and beach gear collected in the carport area--amusing for the kids to look through and play with. Lots of TVs. But the best part: the beach is just around the corner and over the steps over the dune. So easy to come and go from cottage to beach. (One heads-up if stairs are challenging: there are two flights of steps in the living space; the main living area/kitchen is two flights up.) Bottom line, we all loved this cottage and enjoyed our time here.

Although my husband and I just took ownership of this cottage in 2012, it has been in my family since 1985 when my parents built it. Our family just loves the Outer Banks, particularly the northern beaches, so much so that we were married there in my parent's house, who retired here years ago. We are very proud of our charming cottage and are looking forward to sharing it with others, to provide a place for relaxation and peace away from the hustle of our normal lives.
