The Spirit Horse Farm offers a unique and inspiring rental experience. Step into nature and enjoy generous amenities and activities indoors and out. This property features 1 king bed, 2 twin beds, and 2 queen beds.
3 bedrooms, w/additional sleeping for larger groups(Upon Request). Enjoy the convenience of 2 bathrooms with showers and hair dryers. chickens, organic gardens, swimming pool(seasonally), billiards, ping-pong, fire pits,l, board games, exceptional kitchen and outdoor grill. Something for everyone at The Spirit Horse Farm!

Wonderful Stay at Spirit Horse Farm

Linda and Paul were incredible hosts. The atmosphere of the barn converted to lodging was authentic and classy. Any questions we had were responded to immediately. We would absolutely stay again, and in fact are booking another stay within the next month. We plan on making this our base for trips to the northwest corner! Another plus - Rufus the family dog is a delight!

Staying in history

Charming rustic barn with huge kitchen/living space. Boys loved the pool table, I the perfect pool. Linda came to our aid on more than one occasion lol a great host. And Rufus won our hearts. A well-needed getaway spot! Note: there are stairs.

Beautiful farm getaway

We had a wonderful time staying here in July. The property is even prettier than it looked in photos! The house was comfortable, well laid out, spacious, and stocked with games for the family and towels for swimming. The pool was clean, big, and surrounded by nature. It was so peaceful. The garden/firepit/yard area are gorgeous. The AC kept the house constantly comfortable. It is just a two minute drive from downtown shops, ice cream, coffee shops, & a few bakeries. Great for a quiet getaway or large groups. Will be back for sure!

Bumpy start with owner still cleaning place at check in time. No soap in soap holders and had to buy some. She left things in washing machine and had to put in it dryer. Hair left in bathroom ledge. Bees and wasps around pool area and got stung. No horses or peacocks on property. Pigeon poop on deck area. Broken screen door and door does not lock and had to ask opener how to lock it. Can push door open. Property and house itself is pretty and nice grounds but on main road and can hear traffic and early morning! Nice pool except for the bees and wasps. Owner lives on property and there is a tenant as well so not fully private. They let dogs roam into pool area and they and family are walking around nearby. Nice restaurants nearby and several parks with nice waterfall. Cheers! Keeping it real.

A Wonderful Barn Home Stay in Kent, CTOur stay at Linda and Paul's barn home in Kent, Connecticut, for our daughter's graduation was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived, Linda and Paul proved to be excellent hosts, always responsive and available whenever we had a question.The outdoor space is truly beautiful. We especially loved starting our mornings on the deck, enjoying coffee and breakfast while seeing the peacocks– it was such a unique and peaceful experience. Inside, the barn home is everything you'd hope for: rustic, charming, comfortable, and clean. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals for a few days, which was a huge convenience. The home is located 2 miles from the town of Kent and the Kent School. Tips for Future GuestsA couple of things to keep in mind for future guests: we recommend asking about access to the swimming pool and ping pong table before you book if those amenities are important to you. Also, the televisions didn't have remote controls, which made turning them on or off and adjusting the volume a bit tricky.Overall, this barn home provided a fantastic backdrop for our family's celebration, and we highly recommend it!
