Perfect Vacation House

This is the perfect spot for a small family. The house is located close to the Dennis Bay beaches and the south side beaches are a quick 15-20 minute drive away. The house is in a quiet neighborhood and we had no trouble finding easy places to eat and fabulous beaches. We loved going to Chapin and Mayflower at night to watch the sunset and ice cream and the Cape Cod Creamery and Captain Frosty were highlights! The house was clean and very neat. Came with the basics and we were very comfortable. The central AC is nice, but it does get warm at times and can't be changed from 72 degrees. Bring a fan if you get hot at night. The basement was super fun with a small tv room and pool table! Nice yard and outdoor shower as well. We loved this place and would definitely return.

100% would stay here again!

Highly recommend staying at this wonderful property! It was the perfect size for our family of 4, including our 2 small children. The house was very clean, close to the beach, and in a quiet and friendly neighborhood. The one thing we weren't fully expecting, is that there was NO toilet paper, paper towels, or even salt/pepper in the kitchen. We were expecting to purchase those items once we got settled, but it would have been just that much more accommodating to have, i.e. one roll of toilet paper so that we could get settled for a bit before heading to the store, especially since we have kids. All that to say, overall it was an amazing experience and now we know what to prepare for should we stay there again. Thank you to the hosts!

Spacious yet cozy

This is a well-appointed and cheery little house. We enjoyed our stay, missed very little, and overall found it charming. The beds could be better/bigger, though. ;)

Great little home

We enjoyed our week in this home. It had everything we needed, plus a finished basement that was so cute but we hardly even used it. It would have been nice to have a clothesline to hang out wet bathing suits and towels, but the property had an automatic sprinkler system front and back so I guess that’s the reason. Also the very small deck could benefit from a more comfortable patio set. Though the weather was not as perfect as we had hoped for, we did manage several days at the beautiful beaches, Corporation and Mayflower.

Too many restrictions

Restrictions included two vehicles only in driveway although there was adequate room for three. A/C could not be lowered below 72 degrees even though we were in the middle of a hit wave. Permission was needed to have guests visit at a cost of not notifying landlord/agent.

Great, quiet, clean and very convenient location

We're a small family and this house was perfect for us. Location is just down the street from the town's market and other shops. Less than a mile from Mayflower Beach. Dead end road that made it very safe for our little ones to play outside. Very nicely groomed back yard with an outdoor shower. Having a couple little bunnies making their appearance once in a while was a plus (not relevant to the house but worth mentioning it). Small deck with outdoor chairs and table. If you like grilling outdoors this place has what you'll need. AC was running fine. The lower sun room was great for morning or evening hangouts. Washer and dryer were in great condition. We did not utilize the lower part of the house were a playroom and a pool table were located. But they looked clean and fun. Maybe in the future. So just great overall. Go for it. You'll love it like we did. Thank you!
