Welcome to The Kimble! This magical riverfront tiny house is the perfect nature escape, just 20 minutes to the Great Smoky Mountains and 5 minutes to Sylva and Dillsboro. Fish right on the property, rent kayaks or go rafting just 2 minutes away and enjoy beautiful hiking trails nearby. Wake up in a cozy king bed to the soothing sounds of the Tuckasegee River.

The Kimble sits right on the Tuckasegee River and gives you easy access to fun and relaxing activities. Kayak down the river, hike in the mountains, fish from the riverbank or grab great food and drinks in town as it is all close by. The tiny house is located at the front of Laurel Bush Riverfront Cabins and Campground, offering a quiet, cozy place to enjoy nature and explore the area.

Cozy spot in a beautiful location

We really enjoyed staying in this tiny but well thought out property. The location next to the river was lovely, and the stars were beautiful the night we were here. Communication was good.

The cabin was so cute and, even with campground traffic, it was very quiet. It was exactly as described. There was an issue with the water at one point but they were already working on it when I realized it. The parking was a little difficult to get turned around but I didn’t have any issues.

Simple pleasures

This tiny house along the river was a perfect home base for my recent fly fishing trip to the area. The location, just off the Tuckasegee River, was dreamy. Waking up and looking out the window over the river rapids was sublime. Crack open the window and fall asleep to the sounds of the river. The tiny house was simple, and that’s exactly what I wanted. A warm place to stay and to relax after a long day on the river fishing. The location is perfect, with easy access into Sylva and the surrounding communities, as well as easy access to great fishing. The parking can be a bit tight, depending upon how the other guests in the other tiny cabins park, but it’s manageable. I would definitely stay here again.

Location was great, easy to find. Enjoyed falling asleep listening to the river. Bed was cozy. Wish the new hot tub was available to use for my stay. That would have been amazing!
