Host was very responsive and available and the price was reasonable. Upon arrival we had instant regret the door going in was stiff to open and once it did the carpet and how dirty it was becomes instantly noticeable as you look down the stairs to go down stairs to the rooms. Walking up to the living room and kitchen area there are more seats that the max occupancy can even use and we spent most of our time managing and maneuvering around them the entire stay. The bathroom floor on the main level has a bamboo wood flooring and is buckled due to the water damage from going in and out of the shower. In the same bathroom I personally almost slipped and fell when going into the shower because there are no grips and is just a cheap drop in plastic shower. On the walls of the shower is a soap dispenser that looks like can’t be filled or is too hard to fill so it remains on the wall useless and then a shower head caddy holds the soap and conditioner which then limits the small amount of space you do have in the shower. Walking upstairs to the bunk room you are again greeted with dirty used carpet along with a steep set of stairs that are loose on several steps. Upstairs again there is more furniture than needed and clogs the room. The shower upstairs is a joke and utterly useless since it’s so small you are constantly hit with water and unable to properly shower. As for the bottom level the carpet is dirty and used heavily and the rooms are in desperate need of attention.

Cozy but tight

Enjoyed our stay in the cabin, having 3 bathrooms for 8 people was a huge plus!! Walking distance to Minaret shopping center, local restaurants and markets. Quick drive to Canyon Lodge. The staff was very attentive and responded quickly. Would stay here again.

Family Fishing Trip

Came up to fish for a few days. Were treated with a nice snow storm. We have been coming to Mammoth for many years. Sherwin Villas is our lodging of choice. Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home.

Cozy set up close to mnt, stores

Rooms are smaller than the pictures imply- nothing fancy, but 3 levels, 3 bathrooms & the lift with bunk beds made this a good location with family & friends. Walking distance to Vons, Starbucks & many free shuttle stops was helpful also.

Great place near everything in Mammoth

Our family trip while staying at this location was wonderful! It was a perfect size for our family of 8. The only issue we had was the keypad/ door lock. I would recommended placing an extra key in the master key lock in case the keypad becomes an issue in the future. Besides that, I would recommend this place for sure.

Beautiful grounds

Check in was easy with clear instructions to access the unit and where to park, the kitchen was well appointed with appliances but could use additional wine and water glasses. We always travel with stemless Yeti glasses so we were set. There was only one wine glass and 2 water glasses. Plenty of dishes, utensils and cooking tools were available. The unit was spacious with 3 floors, the downstairs carpet and baseboard paint could use the slightest upgrades but the grounds of the property were beautiful and the unit is conveniently located close to the hot tubs and pool. The location was PERFECT within walking distance to many restaurant choices which made it easy to walk in the evenings.

When we arrived at the property our code would not let us in? Finally after 1/2 hour we were given a code to the key lock to get key to enter property! The unit was very poorly kept and the dishwasher was broken and not installed correctly. Finally after 23 hours the dishwasher was fixed. The refrigerator had to be reset because it wasn’t cooling also. The stairs to the loft are at an unsafe angle and one of our party fell. This unit needs some love before it’s rented out again for the price they are charging.

Awesome stay ! We visit Mammoth quite often due to always visiting family in town. This is one of the most spacious condos we’ve ever stayed at !
