Quiet escape in nature

A wonderful time in a beautiful home. Well appointed and well stocked. A lovely home that is in a beautiful wooded area. Everything was nice and welcoming. We will definitely use this again if we return.

Scenic Getaway

We were looking for a remote location just to spend a few days away from the hustle and bustle...We found it!This very well maintained, three bedroom home had everything we were looking for. It is located in the heart of "Lake Monroe country" just minutes from Hardin Ridge Recreation Area. A short drive to Bloomington, Indiana, home of Indiana University in one direction, and rolling hills, wide open farm fields and deep ravines in the other. Although the drive throughout the area is extremely scenic, it was the little details by the home-owner that make this location so special...the coffee pods and creamers for the Keurig...the full ice bin in the freezer...the cleanliness of the house...Everydetail, even down to the new tubes of toothpaste, new soaps and better quality bathroom tissue in each of the bathrooms.An excellent host! (Searching for fossiles and geodes out back while identifying the many varieties of birds was the icing on the cake.)A highly recommended place to just sit back and enjoy your surroundings.
