You can also park on the grass close to the home.

Please note that the driveway is steep and the access road is dirt; 4-wheel drive is not required, but can be helpful in inclement weather. If you're not comfortable driving up the hill, you can park on the road too.

Santa Cruz County is known for its breathtakingly clear and starry night skies, which are protected by light pollution regulations. These measures aim to preserve the natural beauty of the dark skies for residents and visitors alike. To support this effort and respect the community sentiment, we kindly ask our guests to keep off the carport and patio lights when they're not in use.

We provide a french press coffee maker, and dual (regular or pod) Keurig machine with decaf and regular pods, tea, single-serve Coffee Mate creamer pods, honey sticks, cane sugar, and coffee filters. We do not have a grinder onsite.

Smoking is allowed outside only.

|| PET POLICY ||
We’re excited to welcome your fur babies. Up to 2 dogs are allowed, with a per pet fee of $75 each.
*** The neighbors have 2 dogs and one section of fence line is shared with the neighbors. ***
- Please be sure to pick up after your pups —waste bags are provided.
- We kindly ask that you don’t leave your dogs unattended inside or outside.
- Please don’t allow dogs on the beds or furniture. If there’s excessive hair or damage, an extra cleaning fee will apply.

Beautiful home and it was well equipped . We loved the front porch it was a favorite spot for coffee in the morning and wine in the afternoon and evening.

Well-maintained and clean. The host, Shaina, was very attentive and responded quickly when we had a question. The view is beautiful in all directions. Would recommended this place especially for a family or a group of adults that need three very comfortable king-size beds.

This is a beautiful property. I could sit on the porch and look at the views, forever. Shaina is a wonderful host; communicative, friendly, accommodating, clean...fantastic! The home has everything you need. The beds are comfortable, and I have a bad back. This was our second stay, and we hope it's available our next trip.

The house was lovely. We had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The outdoor seating area was wonderful. The weather was very hot but that seating area allowed us to be outdoors comfortably. The kitchen had what was needed to prepare meals. The environment was quiet with nice views, bird song and beautiful sunsets. Those who stay here are in for a wonderful experience. We were sad to leave.

Comfortable home in gorgeous location. Quiet, a bit remote, stunning high desert views. Three king bedrooms with central great room. Kitchen is well-stocked. Easy access to local birding and wineries. We loved our stay.

Best VRBO we’ve ever stayed at

The host was excellent with communication. The set up of the house was great with every room having a king bed making it perfect for 3 couples. Nice appliances and upgraded space. Would recommend staying here if you’re here for the wineries. We will book here again for sure.

The property had a beautiful view, was quiet and peaceful but highly accessible. The host was clearly thoughtful in arranging any wanted or needed necessities and amenities. All information was clearly provided and the communication was easy and transparent. Both the check in and check out processes were smooth and seamless. My friends could not stop complimenting me on the choice of location and gushing about how perfect it was. I would say again without hesitation and would highly recommend this location to anyone considering it.

Felt like it would be good to have grab bars in both bathrooms. Several of the guest had balance issues. Also, the walk up to the VRBO was hard for several guests. Maybe a driveway in front of the home would eliminate some of the steep issues heading up to the VRBO. Otherwise, I would highly recommend it.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Shaina's place. She welcomed us with a very good bottle of local wine and a treat for our dog. The home was comfortable and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked and even had high end spices! The yard is fully fenced and was perfect for our lab. Quiet neighborhood with a beautiful view from the front porch, which was extremely comfortable and protected from the sun. The whole experience was top notch and Shaina was very attentive and helpful when we reached out. She has great recommendations for activites, etc in the area. We will definitely stay here again when we come next time. 10 stars!

Shaina's Sonoita Getaway is Fabulous!

This property is, by far, the nicest and most well-equipped VRBO we’ve ever had the pleasure of staying in. The new beds are incredibly comfortable, and the quality of the bedding and pillows really enhanced our sleep experience. Everything in the house is spotless, and they've done an exceptional job with the décor. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and truly made us feel at home. The location itself is wonderfully quiet and peaceful – perfect for relaxing.

All you need....

What a beautiful property. It had everything we needed and more. The peaceful views and "neighborhood" were all we needed to catch a break. Close to the wineries and other adventures. Shaina is absolutely wonderful and made everything easy. Highly recommended!!

Wow! This place is so beautiful. My favorite place was relaxing on the porch to the gentle breeze and the sounds of the birds. The Mountain View’s were gorgeous. The host thought of everything we could need. The home was beautiful and the furnishings are high end and comfortable.

The best place we’ve stayed in Sonoita!

We visit Sonoita often and couldn’t have asked for a better house for a family gathering! It’s recently upgraded and even more beautiful and well-appointed than we expected. The split bedrooms were perfect for our 2 families. The kitchen had everything we needed. The fenced yard was a hit with our dogs. We spent a lot of our time outside on the covered patio taking in amazing panoramic views, sunsets, and even passing deer from the huge, comfy swing. Best of all, Shaina was a most gracious host. We can’t wait to go back!

I celebrated my 40th birthday here with a private chef preparing dinner for some of my closest friends, and it was nothing short of amazing.From the moment we walked in, we felt truly welcomed — the host even left me a thoughtful birthday gift! The home itself exceeded expectations in every way: beautifully designed, incredibly comfortable, and fully equipped with everything we needed. The gourmet kitchen was perfect for our chef, and the stunning views added an extra layer of magic to the whole experience.We had the best time, and I couldn't have asked for a more memorable way to celebrate this milestone. Absolutely perfect stay. House was actually better than expected, which is literally never the case with listings. Shaina was extremely thorough and clear in her communications and sent us very clear check in and house instructions. The house had all the extra details- bathrooms with makeup remover wipes and q-tips (like a hotel), kitchen with coffee and disposable coffee cups, extra toothbrushes and toothpaste available if needed. She also left the sweetest check in present! The house was SO close to all the wineries and such an excellent location. We loved the fact there were three king beds. We also loved the huge porch swing on the patio and the gorgeous views. We all are recommending this house to anyone who wants to enjoy sonoita! We will be back!

Girl's Trip

Wow! This place is amazing! The view from the swing on the front porch can't be beat. We saw deer every morning and stars every night. The home is cozy yet spacious - we slept 6 women comfortably. No detail has been spared; the kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans, coffee and spices, the appliances are top notch, the bathroom has everything you could need. Your host, Shaina, is incredibly thoughtful; providing all of the comforts you need away from home. She was quick and easy to communicate with. Again, no detail spared, you are going to love your stay!!

Escape to our peaceful 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home nestled in the grasslands of Sonoita wine country. Set on 2.75 fenced acres, the home accommodates up to 6 guests.

Inside, you'll find an open floor plan that connects the living, dining, and kitchen areas.
Each bedroom features a king-sized bed and blackout curtains. Enjoy the covered patio with a twin-sized porch swing—perfect for a sunset glass of wine, or sipping your morning coffee. The hilltop views add an incredible charm to the home.

The 36" Blackstone griddle is safely positioned away from the structure, and ready for grilling.

The home is dog-friendly and fully fenced, so you can bring your pups along to enjoy the rural landscape. Whether you're coming to explore local wineries, hike in the stunning landscape, or simply unwind in nature, this is the perfect spot for your Sonoita stay.
