This host and location should not be considered. We arrived to an insecure location with a broken lock on the rear slider door. The host knew in advance that the door was broken and thought a simple 2x4 was sufficient security…we and VRBO CUSTOMER CARE SUPPORT did not agree and we spent 7 hours of the first day of our holiday visit trying to rectify the situation —which ended up being a new reservation at another location with little help from VRBO CUSTOMER CARE. Mid Century Modern is a poor description as it was definitely not modern. In addition to the broken back door, we found barely any silverware needing to request at least a couple of full sets. This was our first VRBO experience and must say that I would not recommend this location nor VRBO

We stayed at this property for a few days while our house was undergoing renovations. Located close to I-96, so super easy to get to almost anywhere in Metro Detroit. Property was clean, roomy, and comfortable. Nice beds and bedding. It appears the property owner is doing work on the back yard to build a fence, which will be a nice addition. Easy check in process. Fast response from property owner when I had a question. Definitely a solid choice for a short-term rental.
