Downtown central location with easy walk to shopping, coffee houses, restaurants, and Amtrak train station. One block to Trolley station going to all wineries in the Hermann area. Large yard with patio furniture for outdoor enjoyment of beautiful evenings after a day at the wineries. Note: The Blue Suite is upstairs on the 2nd floor in the building, there is no elevator. One bedroom apartment in a four unit building. The Blue Suite is upstairs and on the right. Guest has exclusive use of the suite as well as use of the common stairways and back yard. Property manager contact info posted in unit. Within easy walking distance: coffee shops, shopping, Amtrak train station, dining, and trolley stops. Street and lot parking as well as guest parking in back of building.

Perfect location for a quiet couples weekend away. The room was clean and had all the amenities we needed. The best part was Stomping Grounds Espresso and Doxy Slush in the backyard! Walking distance to most all downtown activities. Great price! We will be back to stay again.

Sparkling Clean and Close to Everything

Communication with our hostess before and during the trip was very good. Our room was very comfortable and everything was sparkling clean. The location was close to everything and we loved being able to walk anywhere we wanted to go downtown. Plenty of parking was available.

Wonderful place!

My family and I had the best time staying in the Blue Suite at Brickhouse Inn. Everything that was listed online was accurate. The location was amazing--close to everything you need in Hermann. Our host, Susan, was amazing with communication! We know where we will be staying for our future Hermann visits.

The room was very clean and accommodating. I chose this room based on price and reviews. It did not disappoint. The bed and sheets were totally comfortable but the pillows not so much. If pillows are important being your own. More website pictures and information about the property would have been very helpful. I was disappointed in communication with the host. I got the pre check-in and what to do when you leave canned emails but I had messaged the host a couple days prior to arrival about some additional info and never received a reply. Also, if you are biking the Katy trail there isn't specific bike storage but there is a carport we were lucky to park under and it worked great as long as you are comfortable having bikes locked up outside to supports of the car port or load them up each night to vehicle bike racks which is kind of a pain for daily use. Otherwise there is off street parking readily available. We had no trouble or vandalism. Location is fantastic to main street and walkable to about anything you need. There is also a nice patio and table out back. My goal here is not to criticize but provide information I wished I would have known to give me confidence prior to booking. Thanks
