As an avid world traveler, I have always been curious and desiring to learn about other cultures, traditions, languages, foods, and lifestyles... my profile pic shows me in North Korea. As I am aging and slowing down and not able to be as active as I once was, I find that the ability to stay with local citizens and host guests from around the world helps me stay engaged in the international diaspora that we all belong to. Hence, I believe myself to be fair and honest, friendly and welcoming, understanding and accepting, open and flexible, hardworking and prompt. Ultimately, my desire as a guest is to be a perfect representative of where I am from while learning about the lifestyle and culture of where I am visiting without bias; and as a host to help achieve your perfect vacation and will work tirelessly until you are content... and perhaps in return you can teach me a little bit of where you are from and in doing so we can help make the world a little smaller.

Admittedly, there are many STR's to choose from. I believe what makes mine a cut above the rest is my personal attention to your needs. Unlike many units which are managed by companies on a commission basis and are impersonal and unreachable, I am the owner of my home and as I am retired, I can (and do) devote all of my energies to the well being of my guests. While I cannot guarantee a response 24/7, when awake I almost always respond within minutes. That, I believe, is a service not offered to many.
