Horrible experience Left within the first hour because of the bugs that were all over. She has yet to hear from the owner, even though we reached out. Had to book a hotel, and now haven't received anything from the owner

We did not have a bad experience here, although I will say we saw multiple roaches of all sizes and the back porch was in complete disarray as soon as we checked in.

Going into this stay I felt very well-prepared for what it would be, and the property definitely delivered on my expectations. It was even a little bit larger than I expected it to be. The surrounding area is so fun and lively but that did make it very hard to sleep at night. We could have used more info about how the gate lock worked so future renters may want to make sure you know how to unlock it!

NYC Trip

Check-in felt unprofessional—being directed to a hotel and then meeting someone on the street was unexpected. The building also had cockroaches, which made the stay uncomfortable.

Great apartment, amazing location

My friends and I spent 9 nights in the apartment which is only a few minutes away from Katz's. Clean and well equipped, we had no issues during our stay. The neighborhood is one of the most vibrant in Manhattan, full of coffee shops, restaurants and nightlife spots. During the weekend it can get a bit hectic and noisy on the street as lots of people are going out in the area, but we enjoyed that even more

Ups and downs

Good living area with large TV. A/C works great. The place can use some TLC and attention to detail. Some key items missing. Noise from street and people hanging out were tough to negotiate at midnight. Bathrooms are good.

Fabulous Location

This was a perfect location for us, in the middle of lots of bars and restaurants and late night action. Just down the Street from Katz's deli and Russ and Daughters and plenty of shopping. Walked to rental bike and rode over Manhattan bridge, walked back across Brooklyn Bridge, quintessential NY experience. Easy F train ride to midtown for shows and the Easter Bonnet parade. Was a little loud on the street at night but only in the front room, didn't bother us at all.

Good But Not Great

The apartment is exactly as it appears in the listing, and works well for the price. The host is communicative as is the housekeeper and maintenance staff who responded quickly to fix the smoke detector that was falling out of the ceiling and the water that stopped flowing one morning.The front door is in the primary bedroom, which means that this bedroom faces a busy street and loud street. The blinds are insufficient for keeping light out of either of the rooms on the ends of the apartment.The kitchen is well appointed with new appliances. The bath towels feel like sandpaper and smell old. The beds were comfortable.
