We stayed in Oril's home for my nephew's graduation from boot camp at Ft. Jackson. The property is very conveniently located near the base, a 10-15 minute drive. The little Honey Tree neighborhood is very nice. The homes are not at all close together, and the neighborhood is very quiet. The home is furnished very nicely and has everything one could want: plenty of towels, coffee in the kitchen, paper towels, nice bedding, and just enough toilet paper. The back deck is lovely and backs up to trees. There is a grill; we didn't try to use it, but it's there. The only thing we think is interesting to note is that the driveway to the home is pretty steep. We ended up parking on the street, which we saw other people doing because our minivan would scrape against the curb when we were trying to pull in. This is certainly not something the homeowners have control of, but it could be a consideration if you have a lower vehicle or do not want to park at a somewhat steep angle towards the garage. The stairs inside the home are on the steep side as well. There was a safety handrail that was useful to hang on to, but if there are mobility issues for anyone, the stairs may be a consideration. Also, make sure to check your messages from the owner for the code to get in the front door upon check-in. Apparently, VRBO will send a random code that is not the correct code to use. The homeowner was helpful and quick to help us with this, so no worries. All in all, an excellent property.
