Charming Spacious 2-bedroom Guest Suite in Highland

This is a charming and very clean apartment in our basement. Bountiful of natural light in the living room area and bedrooms. It boasts 2,400 square feet of space, high ceiling, and a secluded backyard, features 2 queen beds and 1 bunk bed, perfect for a tranquil getaway. With amenities like large screen TV with great surround sound system, high speed guest WIFI service via comcast, reclining leather couches, stylish full-sized kitchen, ping pong and air hockey tables, gas fire pit in a natural tree grove with hammocks, guests can relax and unwind in comfort. The 2 full bathrooms are equipped with showers for convenience. Enjoy your time in Highland at our amazing place.

The house is located in a very secluded upscale neighborhood in the picturesque Highland Utah. Deer can be spotted on the property almost daily. Backyard is next to a preserved natural ravine with a seasonal stream and hiking/biking trails. The trails lead to the gateway to expansive hiking and mountain biking opportunities in the lone peak area. 7 minutes to the mouth of American Fork canyon. Yet it is within 12 minutes of freeway, light rail/train public transportation system, outlet, tech companies in the silicon slopes, and an hour drive from the world class ski resorts. It is about 40 minutes from Salt Lake city International airport.

Guests have dedicate concrete parking space for two vehicles by the driveway. Separate entrance in the back of the house to access the walkout basement. Self check-in with a keypad. Please be aware that our unit does not have washer/dryer provided.

In order to maintain this clean and enjoyable space for all guests, we are very strict with house rules. Please be aware of our rules before any booking.

Please remove shoes while inside. Quiet hours from 10pm to 7am. No parties/large gatherings are allowed. We won't be able to accommodate wheelchairs.

Great place to stay

Clean, beautiful, and good value. The walk around to the back of the house may be difficult for some, but most people won't have a problem with it. We loved our stay here.

Perfect place to stay

The home was in a nice neighborhood and the basement was extremely clean and well appointed, we will be back for sure! The beds were very comfy and we had fun playing ping pong.

Clean and Cute!!

The house was clean and very nicely decorated. It had everything we needed and more. We had a lot of fun playing table tennis and Air hockey, and there was a lot of living space to spread out in. I would highly recommend this rental. Thanks for a great stay!!

Exceptional Property!

This beautifully furnished suite has plush furniture, towels, and sheets and made us feel right at home. Located in a very quiet neighborhood and still close to tons of hiking and other fun things to do. An extremely comfortable place to come home to after a strenuous day of hiking. We loved our stay here and would recommend this property to anyone visiting the Salt Lake City area. Great property! Will definitely stay again if we are in the area.

We enjoyed the neighborhood. Close to a variety of things. We enjoyed playing ping pong. My only complaint is it was really warm. No air conditioning. Just fans.

Thank you for the review. On the issue of AC, we just want to clarify that we do have air conditioning for the unit. We set the temperature at 74 degree. If guests do request to have it cooler or warmer, we will adjust to accommodate.

My daughter had her tonsils out so we came to care for her during her recovery. This home was absolutely perfect. It is in a gorgeous neighborhood. The home itself was spacious and so comfortable for her. The backyard is BEAUTIFUL, complete with tiny hummingbirds and we even saw a mother deer with her two babies. Right off the back yard is a walking path that went right into the trees. LOVED IT ALL! Highly recommend.

We want to clarify. There are two routes from parking around the house to the door of the unit. The short route goes from a concrete pathway through a 20-feet section of lawn area with a pretty steep slope. Not good for people with mobility issues such as a cane or walker. The long route goes from the sidewalk to a paved path then through a 30-feet section of lawn area. It is not completely flat, but very walkable. Both routes take a minute or two to walk to the front door of the unit.

Great stay!

The house was very clean and roomy. While only two of us stayed, there was ample room for our family of 8 to play games and have meals together during the day. There were very minimal cooking utensils but plenty for eating. It was chilly during the day and the fireplace took a long time to heat the space. It was warm at night. Communication was quick and helpful.

Positives: Having air hockey and ping pong available--was lots of fun. Rooms are all very clean, nice carpeting, comfy couch. First night was very hot, too hot to sleep well. Grateful the host was willing to adjust the thermostat and it was cooler and better the second night. Concerns: Not enough towels--we were told there were extras in the bedroom closet but they were never found. Beds seemed soft but we woke up sore--could not find a way to get comfortable and bunk beds were not good for teenagers. Parking was restrictive--had to accommodate hosts and had to poke out over sidewalk. Show pressure a little low unless full-on hot.

We provided four sets of towels in the bathrooms and additional sets in one of the dresser closets. There are only four closets total in two bedrooms. All it takes is to send us a message if not found and we should've been able to direct the guests staying to find them. Our bunk beds are from IKEA, VITVAL model, exactly as what is shown in our listing pictures. We provide two overnight parking space for our guests plus additional parking along the street for any visitors.

The walkout basement apartment is spacious, comfortable, clean and luxuriously furnished. It’s in a very wealthy, quiet neighborhood with a beautiful backyard. Both beds were very comfortable with soft bedding. The only downside is parking in the driveway on the right side of the house, you have to walk down the front sidewalk pretty far, which was difficult with all of our luggage and food, to another sidewalk down to the backyard. Then you have to drag everything across lawn, uphill to the patio and entrance to the apartment. It was a little embarrassing to “parade” in front of all of the wealthy neighbors every time we went in and out of the apartment. We dreaded it every time.

We loved staying here! The beds were very comfortable. The apartment was super clean and homey. We had off-street parking for our two cars. The host was prompt in all communications and kind. It was very nice to have two full bathrooms, which is rare. We will definitely stay here again if we get the opportunity.
