Sip morning coffee on the sunroom or two-level deck while watching deer graze or birds soar. The backyard is perfect for horseshoes, sunset chats, or simply unwinding. Just a short stroll through the woods brings you to your **private single-slip dock**, ideal for swimming, fishing, kayaking, or simply watching the lake sparkle. Our host could not have been more responsive and helpful before our trip, and she assured us she'd be available if we needed her while we were there. The house was spotless! The driveway is quite steep as is the walk to the dock, which is in a quiet cove. There are plastic chairs and a table to use on the dock, and the view from there across the lake at sunset was gorgeous!

The check-out time listed in the instructions is 11:00 AM. At around 10:15 AM, while we were outside getting ready to leave, a white VW convertible driven by a woman circled the cul-de-sac. She left briefly, then returned a few minutes later and parked directly behind our truck and boat. She didn’t say anything—just waited there until we pulled away, all before the official check-out time. The whole situation made me feel uncomfortable, as if we were being pushed out or evicted. It felt completely unprofessional and disrespectful.

Beautiful peaceful home

First of all the property owner is super super nice! She answers questions very fast and helps you out anyway she can! The home was very clean and so peaceful on the lake! It's very roomy! We had 2 kids under two and the high chair and playpen came in very handy that was at the property! We will return to this rental again if we are in this area.we enjoyed your home!

This home has been owned by the same family for a couple generations now. It is cozy and reminds you of summers spent at memaw and pawpaw's house. You will see some Family Traditions in the home by way of a hidden plaque, some of the art, and furniture in the house.
