We had a great time. The pool was the reason we picked this place and it did not disappoint. It rained while we were there but it didn’t matter because the first floor porch was a perfect getaway. We made a lot of great memories and we will definitely be renting this property again. My granddaughter did not want to leave.

Beach Bums Paradise had everything our family needed for a great Edisto trip. The host was incredibly responsive to making our stay comfortable. The pool was very refreshing with easy beach access. Great week.

The house was really clean and spacious. The pool area is where we spent a lot of time at which everyone had a great time. The beach was super close and easily accessible. We rented a golf cart for the week and toured the island, definitely would recommend doing that. The few downfalls were that the downstairs bedroom area was apart from the rest of the house, it felt like one of the couples that was there was isolated. The house doesn’t come with sheets or towels so planning for that was an extra step. It was a great place for a family getaway.

We’re sorry the downstairs bedroom arrangement wasn’t what you expected. The separate downstairs bedroom is highlighted in our listing and photos so guests can see that it offers a more private space, which many families and couples actually enjoy. We also understand that bringing linens requires a little extra planning. Because we clearly note in the listing that guests provide their own sheets and towels, we try to make that expectation clear before booking so everyone can plan accordingly. We really appreciate your feedback.

We love this house. This is our second year coming. Close to beach, right beside bike path. Upgrades from last year! Kitchen fully stocked with everything you need to cook and we love the big pantry and extra storage space in the laundry room. Separate bedroom downstairs is perfect. Looking forward to year 3.

Our host was great! Always replied promptly if I had a question ! The pool and patio area was great.. lots of seating and tables for entire family. The downstairs bedroom and bath is not accessible from inside house .. had to enter from outside.. we did not use it because of this. Great location and short walk to beach on the bike path which we enjoyed for walks and biking

The vacation beach house was very enjoyable for our entire family. The private pool was especially nice. Our Grandchildren enjoyed both the pool and the beach! The entire outdoor area was very nice. We enjoyed the deck areas which included many options for everyone. We were able to check in and start our vacation at the designated time with no problems. The host communicated with us and answered questions and issues we had. We found the house clean and ready to use upon arrival. The July weather brought with it high temperatures but the Air conditioning kept us very comfortable. The Master suite was spacious and all rooms and beds were comfortable. The laundry facilities were nice however the dryer and washer could be updated as the drying cycle was long. The kitchen was fully stocked for us to prepare some family meals. The location of the house was great. We were able to visit the beach as well as area businesses near by. Our family came from various locations for this years vacation to Edisto Beach. We had a wonderful time. Thank you for being part of the experience. I think we all agreed it could be a return trip some day.

Loved the location and layout of the house, also the pool, swings, and lots of outdoor seating. Also enjoyed the bike trail right behind the house. Would stay again!

Great location ! Perfect for couples with kids!

We had such a great time at “A beach bums paradise “ the location is awesome. The house is clean with lots of space ! The outdoor shower is amazing after a Long Beach day, and a great porch for laughs with friends and cocktails!

First Edisto trip

Perfectly located on the bike path that the kids loved! Very short walk to the beach which was also very convenient. Clean home with plenty of space on the patio and underneath the deck to hang out. Definitely would stay here again.

Edisto Escape

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. We look forward to our Edisto Beach week vacation ever year. This house was a fan favorite. The pool, while a little warm thanks to the hot SC June days, was a nice bonus. The house was perfect for our family and friends. Very well decorated and lots of storage, clean and well maintained. The hosts were very responsive and accommodating. We hope to book again very soon!

Nice house, great location

Everything about the house was as described and seen in the photographs- clean, nicely decorated, close to the beach, lots of bathrooms, and bike path right in the back yard. We went at Thanksgiving and I was pleased with the well-equipped kitchen.

A great week!

This is our second year in a row staying at the house and it is perfect for our group. The bedrooms are great for the adults and the bunk room is great for the kids. The pool is a wonderful feature as well! The check in and out process is a breeze!

As much as we enjoy the charm and history of Charleston, Edisto Beach offers a serene escape just a short drive away, making it a perfect spot for relaxation, nature walks, and beach activities.

We truly enjoy hosting and making sure our guests feel at home during their stay. We love that hosting gives us the opportunity to meet people from all walks of life and provide them with a memorable experience at one of the most beautiful spots on the South Carolina coast.

What we enjoy most about Edisto Beach is its peaceful atmosphere and the sense of community. Whether you're biking around the island, watching the sunset, or strolling down the beach, there's a calmness that makes Edisto feel like home. We love that it offers the perfect balance of seclusion with easy access to the vibrant culture and dining options of Charleston, just a short drive away.

What makes our property unique is the combination of modern upgrades and its unbeatable location. We've carefully updated the house to make it perfect for our family, and we hope you’ll feel right at home, too. The addition of a private pool is a guest favorite, offering a perfect spot to relax after a day at the beach. We’ve also added solar panels to be more environmentally conscious and a sun deck that’s ideal for watching the sunset or enjoying morning coffee.

Our location is another standout feature—right on the Edisto bike trail, so you can easily explore the island on two wheels, and just a short walk to Whaley’s, one of the best local restaurants for fresh seafood. It’s these little touches—along with our ongoing commitment to make the space as comfortable and enjoyable as possible—that make our home a special place to stay!
