The calming waters at Edisto Beach State Park are right within reach, only three and a half miles away, where you and your family will be able to relax on its sandy shores and enjoy a nice morning out. Afterward, treat the family to the Edisto Island Serpentarium and learn all about the amazing reptiles that live there.



Head on back home after you've discovered enough of the coastline and relax with your feet up in the living area, complete with cozy furnishings, a coffee table, and a TV. If you and your group get hungry, look no further than the gas grill for some classic American barbecue. Then, kick it up on the balcony and enjoy the cool breeze of the air along with the splendid view of the water below. There's never been a better time to visit South Carolina!

This is a super clean, well appointed property. The photos actually make the place (interior and grounds) appear smaller than in person. Gorgeous landscape and marsh backdrop. Perfect for birders, walkers and loungers!

Excellent rental for family and friends with 2 small problems

House and location are perfect, overall our group had a great time. Only complaints would be that the house doesn’t have ceiling fans in any of the bedrooms, and the we had to do a lot of cleaning to the pool when we arrived. The filter was so clogged with debris and dead animals the pump sounded like it was going to explode and wouldn’t circulate any water at all.

The house is gorgeous and spotless. Big wide rooms, huge kitchen, plenty of bathrooms. There’s a little path behind the pool area to go out onto the marsh, which is great if you’re a birder. When we went in the spring, the mosquitoes weren’t out yet and the weather was lovely! We did have an issue with the showers not getting properly hot. There property managers were very responsive and sent someone out right away. However, even though he turned the water heater up to its highest setting, the showers never got better than lukewarm. We encountered a few other issues—the grill didn’t work and its plug broke off in the wall. The fridge water filter was so old that the water and ice were salty (???). The windows don’t have screens on them, and many don’t lock properly. Plan to bring any kitchen tools you deeply desire, because this is NOT a well stocked kitchen. Basic tools are available (for the most part), but you’ll be getting your own paper towels, trash bags, tinfoil, spices, etc. There is not a crowd-sourced pantry of leftover spices and cooking oil as everything is completely cleared out between guests. Overall it was a really pretty house, and we did enjoy our stay. But my expectations increase with price, and this isn’t a budget property. For the price, I’d expect more consistency.
