Beautiful stay

This condo was very recently renovated to my pleasant surprise (different than the VRBO pics). It's beautiful and clean. I love the colors and decor. It's roomy yet cozy. Has many beach items for use. The view is nice, you can see the Gulf. The only two downfalls are that the gym doesn't always open at 7am like the door says. And the master bed is a little squeaky and i think is a combo mattress/boxspring. Not the comfy-est but we slept ok anyway. Would recommend this condo!

Great Location!

Well-maintained complex across from the Public Beach and about a mile walk from the Village. Condo was clean with gulf/sunset views.

Great location but unit needs updating

The location was great! Close to the beach and easy to get to the village by bike or any of the free ride services. The property was nice and the pool was nice, clean and warm! The unit was as pictured had a lot of supplies in the kitchen. But as stated in other reviews the unit definitely needs updating. Most importantly the master bedroom bed was awful! Definitely needs a new matress. The two twin beds seemed nice. They stated the bathrooms were newly updated but just the tile in the showers. The handle fell off when I turned on the tub shower, we were able to put it back on ourselves but things like that were disappointing. The furniture is very dated too and the foot rest to the white leather chair was broken and yellowing. Overrall we enjoyed our stay but definitely would be better with an updated unit.

Great Location!

La Siesta offers a great location and great views of the Gulf. Just minutes from the village. The condo was clean and in good shape, However it does need updated.

The booking and checking process was so easy and we had no issues even when we got to the property later than we thought we would. Only suggestion would be to update the furniture as the same furniture is there that was there 11 years ago. The location is the best - across from the beach and not far from anything you want to do.

The unit was outdated and dirty.

I am sorry to write a bad review, but for the money the unit needs cleaning and updating. My 1 year old hands and feet were black. The carpet needs cleaning. The maintenance man came and took one of the chairs which belonged in the clubhouse because someone previously had broken one. So we only had 3 chairs for 4 adults. The fabric chair smelled horrible. The appliances didn't work. (toaster you held down lever. Coffee pot is ancient. The mattress on the beds need replacing. The location and view was nice. La Siesta complex was spotless and everyone exceptionally nice. The office staff were fantastic and professional. We would return to the complex but never that unit until updated and cleaned.

We are directly across the street from World Famous #1 Beach. There is also a blue mat for those who have trouble walking in sand to those who may need a wheel chair. This blue mat goes as far as the lifeguard stands.
