We stayed in a cozy apartment in the rear of the second floor. The apartment had a living room, bedroom with a small closet-sized sitting room next to it, functional kitchen (which we really didn't use) and a deck off the kitchen overlooking the grounds and water behind the house. Loved the layout! Paris is a welcoming host and lives on premises. The house and furnishings are nice, but all are quite old (there's antique, and then there's old), and in need of upkeep (for example, there were holes in a couch pillow and the kitchen towel, there was one teaspoon, and the kitchen sponge smelled...stupid and nit-picky, I know, but just saying, expect no-frills). Still good accommodations for the price in this area. The house is situated in a very nice neighborhood within a 15 minute walk of the lovely stores and restaurants of the Village of Sag Harbor and a short drive to East Hampton and Amagansett. We thoroughly enjoyed a play at the Bay Street Theater (just short of a Broadway production). All in all, this accommodation served us well and we would come back.
