Keep it simple at this peaceful and thoughtfully curated 1962 Smith Lake cottage. Completely updated with multiple outdoor spaces to enjoy. One slip covered boat dock with swim pier just a few steps to water, plus access to free boat launch at Rock Creek Marina. 4 kayaks included plus floating lily pad.
Perfect for families, couples, or friend groups. BIG water views from every room. Massive sun deck for outdoor entertaining, relaxing & watching the sunsets.

Do not allow children to jump on the daybed/trundle bed. The fireplace is not available for use by guests, thanks!

If you use the blackstone, it needs to be rolled out onto the deck. Do not grill inside screened in porch or renter responsible for replacing screens.

Our stay was fantastic.The cottage is beautifully designed and appointed with everything we needed. The view is unbeatable with lake views from every room and the deck felt like our own private boutique hotel. We spent most of our time lounging and swimming off of the dock which was not too many steps from the house. Stephanie was an excellent and communicative host. We're already looking forward to our next stay!

Cozy and Rustic

The house is perfect for a couple or a small family! Renovations are excellent and the view from the living room is tranquil. Property owner is very responsive and provides great information before, during and after your stay - highly recommend!

Wonderful small house with big views

Very very clean. Beautiful deck and dock. Big lake views. Great air conditioning. Great host communication. Would definitely rent again.

We are Birmingham, AL natives who love spending our free time at Smith Lake with our 2 sons and 2 springer spaniels, Remi & Birdie. Our cottage is a short drive from our primary home and the perfect place to get away and unwind!

There are several boat and jet ski rentals available on the lake. Smith Lake Boating Adventures offers free dockside delivery and pickup to our cottage! You can contact them to book.
The cottage is very close to the public boat launch at Rock Creek Marina.
