Wonderful location

The home was exactly as described, very bright and spacious. Perfect location for the extended family to enjoy water sports, explore the islands and surrounding area or just relax. Hope to visit again.

Boating and Relaxing

We had lovely stay at this house. The house was well stocked in every way. There were fun games to use outdoors and kayaks and paddleboards. We loved bringing our boat and having a dock on the water! The host was easy to communicate with as well!

Regen on the Lake

The house and property are very nice and love it being a house on the Lake with WiFi and AC and a nice feature. The docks are great to fish from. We used the kayaks everyday. We enjoyed our time and can't wait to come back.

Great location for fishing

This is a prefect location for fishing. We brought our boat but weren't able to use the boat launch due to the size of our boat. Fortunately there is a launch not far from the house and we were able to keep the boat at the dock. The house is very nice with great views from the big windows.

Therapeutic

This property is beautiful and the owner, Fred, is very responsive. The interior's floor plan was well thought out. The upscale wooden beams and large picture windows overlooking the lake are fabulous. You are only steps away from the lake/dock and the "backyard's" large lawn area is more than ample for multiple outdoor games.

Wonderful Week!

This was a great rental for our family! Plenty of space for 4 adults and 2 teens, the bathrooms and deck were easily accessible for my disabled mom. The kitchen was perfect, we love to cook and I always bring my own knives and pans as many rentals are not well equipped or things are not well cared for. That was definitely not the case here, we had everything we needed and it was all in great shape!! The dock, boat launch and patio were wonderful, the patio gets nice and warm from the sun and is great to lie on to watch stars later. We walked to the state park almost every evening for sunset, easy walk and very pretty. The water wasn't great for swimming, but people we talked to said that it was normally much clearer, but weedier and cloudy this year from the flooding earlier in the summer. Overall, would highly recommend, especially if you have a boat!

Peaceful Getaway

Our family of 4 spent an extended Memorial Day weekend at this beautiful property. It was just the escape we needed from NYC. We still had a great time despite the less than ideal weather. The house itself was just as pictured, clean and very comfortable. We felt at home instantly upon arrival. Kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked. Linens and towels provided is a plus. The everchanging view of the lake from the house is majestic at any time of day or night. Our family loved seeing the reflection of the moon on the lake and the infinite stars in the night sky. Fishing from the dock was very good, large mouth bass and sunfish. We enjoyed Alburgh Dunes State Park, which was very close by. Hero’s Welcome General Store had great sandwiches and was a fun place to shop. Fred was easy to communicate with and very responsive. His directions were better than Google Maps when close to the property. Thank you Fred, for a wonderful experience!

Peaceful with a gorgeous view

This was a great location to stay in! Very quiet and peaceful and the pictures don’t do it justice in our opinion. Fred was a great host and very easy to communicate with.

Wonderful vacation.

This is the third year my family has enjoyed this great house. The location is great for fishing, kayaking, walking, and totally relaxing. Family members meet up from their various homes and spend happy times together. The grandkids are already talking about next year. The owners are very helpful,

Wonderful stay at a beautiful house

Couldn’t have been better. Beautiful house with great views of the lake. Everything was provided including 2 kayaks and a stand up paddleboard. Highly recommend this home.

Great value

The property is gorgeous and the house is very well built, well laid out and well maintained. First floor A/C needs a little help with polarized shades on the first floor windows as the morning sun is quite bright. The dock area is lovely and handled our 21 foot boat nicely.

Amazing

Another great week

This is a great place to stay and disconnect. This is our second visit, returning following loving our stay last year. There’s a great dock that accommodated the two 19 food boats we brought (approx 4-5 feet of depth, at least). The fishing is good from the dock, lots of perch and bluegills and if you have a boat, the rest of the lake is great for just about everything. The house itself was very clean, with a nice kitchen/living room area to accommodate larger groups. We’ll be back again.

House was comfortable clean and fully stocked with everything you need to enjoy your vacation. Beautiful views from the house, good fishing nice dock and amazing master bedroom with king size bed. We enjoyed our stay, thank you.

Beautiful house on Lake Champlain

Just steps from the lake, the house has a wall of windows in the living/dining room facing east, a great place to watch the sun rise or to just gaze out at the lake. A well equipped kitchen makes meal preparation easy. Easy communication with the owner. An extremely pleasant stay.

Beautiful home

Spectacular property! Beautiful views, ramp and dock was a plus for the fishermen who caught their limit of trout each day. Home was well equipped for family dinners and 2 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms offered privacy. Spent most time on the beautiful deck and lawn overlooking the lake. Quiet and peaceful retreat for the week.

Great home for the extended family

Lovely home in a great location. Private dock makes it easy for kayaks and SUPs, fishing and jumping in the lake for the little ones. Places to hike and explore.

Relaxing and Quiet Week

We had a wonderful week. The weather wasn't the best, but we still enjoyed ourselves very much. The fishing was fantastic, we fished from the end of the dock, my 4 year old grandson caught his first fish. The camp is very nice inside and clean. The windows in the living room overlook the lake, what a view. The camp was well stocked with supplies. The privacy is fantastic, you are set way back from the road, it was very quiet. If you want a sandy beach it is just a short walk to it. Oh and the wildlife, we saw 1 or 2 deer everyday! We would definitely stay there again!!

Long awaited get away

A great vacation home, very clean, the kitchen is well equipped and the AC was great for the warmer days. We enjoyed fishing off the dock as well as the kayaks and paddle board that were provided. We looking forward to our next stay. Randy and Christal

Overall it was great. Everyone had fun, especially on the lake. We all liked the area and made use of the lake each day. Kids, (teenagers) loved it. One minor issue: the TV was difficult to use, although the kids figured it out. Otherwise no problems. It was an enjoyable experience.

The Lake families at THE BIG LAKE.

This was a truly outstanding property including great views right on the water, with its own launching ramp and dock. The fishing around the launch area was pretty darn good because we saw a lot of boats cruising the area. Would love to come back someday.
