The attention to detail is amazing. The host Christine was very good at communicating. We had a hiccup during arrival do to a street closure. She was able to provide an alternative route our GPS didn't find. It is the perfect location for a good walkabout. You can explore the historical neighborhood or walk to downtown via river walk. Property is an adorable home tucked away behind all the action. Our vehicle did not leave the driveway all weekend. I highly recommend this property and host.

Can a little bungalow be peaceful, inviting and in the middle of the action all at once - yes! We enjoyed walking the KW neighborhood as well as the selection of restaurants and gathering places nearby. The bungalow itself is thoughtfully appointed not just in its furnishings, but also all of the little extras - snacks, coffee, water, and any toiletries may have left behind. Perfect place for a spontaneous get away!

Our stay was fantastic. The house was clean and was a wonderful place to stay. The host was welcoming and provided very clear and easy instructions for check in and check out and was very easy to reach. The location was walkable to restaurants and cafes. We would highly recommend and would stay again.

Beautifully restored house. Neighborhood was lovely. House was very clean and inviting and stocked well. Location was excellent - we were able to easily walk to Riverwalk. Host was very communicative! Would definitely stay here again!

The bungalow put us within walking distance of everything we wanted to do and see. Perfect spot to explore SA. The bungalow had a lot of room and was an historic home. The owner kept everything true to the period in which it was built while incorporating all modern conveniences and the thoughtful decor added to the charm and the feeling of being in a really nice home. We also appreciated the owners connection to \knowledge of the King William community.

The home is very charming. The neighborhood is lively, but the house is peaceful. The owners are very responsive, the house is clean and well stocked. The shower is perhaps a little bit of a concern for older folks, but I would certainly recommend it to others.

Beautiful Home in a Great Location - 10/10 Excellent!!!

A wonderful bungalow in the King William District. Located in walking distance to great food and the Riverwalk. Christine is a great communicator and responded quickly to our questions. She made us feel right at home. Highly recommended!!

Beautiful jewel of a house

We loved staying here. Christine did everything to make us comfortable and the location is perfect with lots of restaurants closeby, and an easy walk to the Riverwalk. I look forward to staying here again.

A Wonderful House in a Special Neighborhood

How great to be right in the heart of the King William neighborhood in San Antonio! Restaurants, art galleries, wonderful architecture , great walkable place!! Part of San Antonio the average tourist never gets to see. Fantastic!

Absolutely the best place to stay in San Antonio

A wonderful bungalow in the King William District that is perfect for one or two couples, or a small family. Everything you need is at your fingertips and it so centrally located that you can walk to all the downtown sites—with easy access to the riverwalk. Christine is a great communicator and responded quickly to our questions. Made us feel tight at home. Highly recommended!!

A San Antonio Gem

This bungalow was just right for our Christmas stay in San Antonio!! First, the location is sooo close to the Riverwalk & restaurants. The house is cozy, yet roomy enough for the four of us (again, all adults). The owners have thoughtfully prepared the rental with so many extras(toiletries, insect repellents, “noise” machines for sleep, ring security, off street parking, local info - books & pamphlets, backyard patio amenities, great beds and linens, bottled water, and more). The only thing to be aware of is the claw foot tub/shower - so if mobility is an issue, that needs to be taken into consideration. Overall - just a perfect spot for our SA, TX vacation!!

Cozy Bungalow with Great Location

My daughter and I had a wonderful stay at this cozy bungalow. Christine was very accommodating and helpful with answering our questions. She added so many special touches that made it so comfortable. We enjoyed sitting out on the patio at night in the comfortable chairs. The neighborhood is near restaurants and Riverwalk. We enjoyed the churros right next door at the food truck. The beds were very comfortable and decor was very nice. We highly recommend this rental to anyone who enjoys a quiet and relaxing place to stay while in San Antonio.

A perfect place to stay for 2 couples. Comfortable place to just relax and hang out with friends while also convenient to the Riverwalk, dining and other site seeing spots. A very cozy and clean cottage with great amenities. Thoroughly enjoyed seeing the architecture of the neighborhood as well. Highly recommend!

Beautiful Home in a Great Location

Christine was a super great host. Her communication was excellent. In addition the home was not only clean and presented well, but small amenities abound. The location was in the heart of the King William's district and within easy walking distance of so much. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Charming historic bungalow and neighborhood

We fell in love with the vibrant King William neighborhoid and this comfortable, charming bungalow. We were able to quickly walk to downtown as well as through one of the oldest and most beautiful historic neighborhoods right outside our front door. The house felt very safe, and it was well furnished and spotlessly clean. I appreciated the big roomy fridge, great range and ample kitchen equipment. There are interesting restaurants, shops and bakeries very near and it was quite easy to get on the Mission bike trail a few blocks away.

My husband and I have lived in many different countries and are avid travellers. We are smitten with our little neighborhood of King William because of the history, the walkability of the area, the quality restaurants, cafes, and bars right outside our door and the ease of getting to and from the airport. We think it's the best area in San Antonio and hope you will feel at home in our little bungalow.

We love the bungalow because it is tucked away on a side street but still right in the middle of everything. The craftsmen style with the original long leaf pine floors add to the charm of this unique home.
