Wonderful Acadia Area Stay

This was a great rental that is just a short drive from Bar Harbor, Acadia, and Bangor. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the home was clean as described.

Overall, we had a very nice stay at this property. The hosts were pleasant, rooms were very clean and fresh. The location was very practical for our needs, which were centered around visiting family in the area. We stayed for 8 nights, and found the only thing lacking were a few kitchen items, as we planned to cook and bake during our stay. The knives and pots and pans provided were great!

Best of the Best

We spent two nights at this property the weekend of July11-12. Everything was so clean and the place was so homey and comfortable. It had high end finishes and the decor was very tastefully decorated. We would definitely stay there again.One suggested would be to purchase a toaster.We spent the day Saturday on Campobello Island and the Roosevelts compound. This house was in a nice location to visit the island. All guest should make sure they visit MoMo’s Cheesecakes in Ellsworth which is 30 minutes from the house. It’s an experience they won’t forget.

Nice place, a couple suggestions

This was a very nice place, very clean. My suggestion is, don’t be quite so expectant of the guests at checkout. Starting the dishwasher and gathering the towels is enough. But sweeping, washing and putting away the towels (difficult for people showering in the morning), stripping beds, and taking the trash in our car to another location is too much, especially for travelers trying to hit the road. We paid a cleaning fee for that service. The owner was very nice. A well kept home.
