We had a fabulous girls weekend here ! Location was amazing - parking right across the street with covered lot. We walked pretty much everywhere. The space was clean as a whistle and room was huge all with ensuite baths. Communication with Chris was perfect. We have recommended to so many people already and will be back again soon !!

Gold Friends getaway

We were very pleased with the property and its cleanliness! It was great that all 3 of us had our own bathroom and large bedroom. Great to have the clean washer and dryer!The only faults we could find were that we weren’t able to change channels on a TV in one of the bedrooms & the ice maker didn’t work - no biggies!Overall great place to stay! Would definitely recommend to our friends & family! Thanks!!

Newport Lofts - 359 NE Thames

We rented the property for a 50th birthday weekend with some friends. The property is centrally located in the main hub of Newport. The property was clean, spacious and exactly what we were looking for. I will definitely be looking to rent this space again come Spring/Summer.

Thames Street Property Review

The property was very clean and you can't beat the location in terms of being in the middle of the action. The only thing we didn't realize is the amount of noise that comes from Thames Street on weekend nights, which is understandable. If you don't mind the noise, this is a great property to stay at.

Home Away From Home

Great location and plenty of space. Very comfortable. Right in the middle of the action yet quiet at night. There was some noise from one of the bars on the street one night but not bad at all. Really nice place to stay.

Moms trip!

The property is exactly as listed. My friends and I come to Newport every year for our annual girls trip. This property was by far the best one yet. Location is in the heart of Newport, walking distance to everything! Very spacious for all 5 of us. Large bedrooms with bathrooms in each room were a huge plus getting ready for a night out. The common area is very spacious! Every amenity you would need! Check-in was seamless, and the two parking spaces across the street were so convenient for our two vehicles. We hope to rent this location again next year!!! Thank you Newport Lofts!

Amazing property. Super clean and updated. Fabulous location. Wish we had known that the code to enter would be given to us the morning of our first stay. I wouldn’t have panicked about it then. It makes perfect sense but no reason not to tell us ahead of time. We will DEFINITELY stay there again!!

Friends 40th birthday weekend

The condo was great, clean and spacious. The location was perfect walking distance to everything and the contact person answered all pre arrival questions promptly. It is a little noisy when people leave the bars but definitely a great spot if you expect to be going out and about during the weekend to have fun.

Charming rental, great location, room for improvement

We were a group of 5 friends and stayed in the 3 bedroom unit. The unit is conveniently located and offers free dedicated parking. The decor is charming but sparse. Furniture was oddly placed and sized and more seating is needed. Very little communication was provided about checkin, parking and checkout process and the kitchen is only moderately stocked. (The keg tap pictured is decorative, not provided.) Beds are very comfortable and nice bedding and linens are provided. Surprisingly quiet for the location, surrounded by great restaurants, bars and coffee shops.

Good but not great

This property is definitely in the middle of a party if that is what you are looking for. Right below us was a bar that made us feel like we were actually in the bar with how loud the noise was. As for parking, we didn’t receive any instructions to where the parking spots were located, and on a very hectic street, this became a very stressful situation. I tried to contact the property manager but never heard back so luckily I ran into someone on the street who knew. Overall, it is just as pictured and is right in the middle of all the restaurants and shopping. It just depends on what exactly you are looking for, but beware at night at least on the weekends, it can get very loud.

Great! Only shortcoming was no hangars

There is no question you are staying here for the location and the newness/cleanliness. All great. I had one request - there were only 4 hangars for all 3 bedrooms. I called the property manager and asked that some be dropped off but that never happened. Don't hang any clothes and you are all set. We did arrive early. They were very accommodating about getting us in as early as possible. That was nice. We had a lovely stay.

The place was amazing, larger than the images portray. Location was excellent. The unit came with three parking spots across the street which were convenient, but tight, especially the third spot.

Newport stay in Thames Street

The apartment was perfect for our party of 6. Each couple had their own bedroom and bathroom. The kitchen and living area was comfortable. Staying on Thames Street was a perfect location, we were able to walk everywhere except to the mansions.

The location is perfect. Easy walk to a lot of places. We had 3 couples and the condo couldn’t have been better. Large bedrooms. Great living space. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

As a way to contribute to our downtown neighborhood, we purchased this worn out home in December 2015 and did a gut renovation to create a comfortable luxurious condominium residence in the heart of Newport. We thoroughly enjoy our residence as a weekend get away and wish to share the vibrancy of Newport with visiting guests who appreciate a well appointed residence and comfortable environment with all the amenities at your door step.
