Perched above Melones Beach on the island of Culebra, Casa 9 is a 5-bedroom beachfront villa with sweeping views of the Caribbean, Tamarindo Beach, and Cayo Luis Peña. Wake up to stunning sunrises, unwind by the heated pool, and fall asleep under a sky full of stars.

The villa sleeps up to 12 guests (13 with an air mattress, available for an extra fee) and sits on a protected sea turtle marine reserve with direct beach access — just a 5-minute drive from town.

A scenic path winds through the property to a private gazebo, ideal for yoga or meditation. Open the kitchen windows and serve cocktails and food directly to the pool bar counter. The balcony is made for long evenings: hammocks, lounge chairs, electric BBQ, and unobstructed ocean views.

Good to Know
- Getting around: A rental car or SUV is strongly recommended. Golf carts are not recommended— if you rent one, we suggest you parked outside the main gate.
- Beach: Aqua shoes are highly recommended for Melones Beach.
- Children: The pool is unfenced and the balcony and terraces are elevated. A signed release and waiver are required for all minors under 18.
- Nature: Casa 9 is nestled in nature. Expect to share the surroundings with deer, birds, lizards, tropical insects, and the occasional non-venomous snake. Guests with allergies to stings or bites should bring appropriate medication.
- Water: The home is self-sustaining on collected rainwater — please be mindful of usage. The house had UV filtration system.
- Power: There is no backup generator. Outages are uncommon and typically brief, as the property is close to town and the main hospital.
