The cozy space is perfect for couples or solo travelers looking for a relaxing retreat. You're sure to make fantastic memories with a stay at our place. Enjoy views of East Mtn, Butternut Basin ski area and the Housatonic River with walking trails alongside. A short 10 min drive from Bitternut and 15 mins from Catamount ski area. Walk to town for restaurants, shops, yoga, farmer's market, cannabis and more.

The studio apartment was so nice. Steam shower was amazing and the owners thought of everything to make our stay fun and comfortable. The grounds were beautiful and close to main street. Great big windows looking out on the grounds and the river. Saw the harvest moon from the big windows at night!

A wonderfully uncluttered and serene atmosphere. Everything you need for a great stay in the southern Berkshires. It is obvious that this place has been thoughtfully designed. Quiet yet easily accessible to downtown Great Barrington. I can’t wait to experience it in other seasons.

Beautiful and convenient

Jill and Steve's place had everything we needed and more! It was quiet, comfortable, and convenient — walking distance to restaurants and a short drive to many points of interest. We enjoyed the beautiful shower, the sunroom view, and the antics of the chickens just outside the door. We will keep it in mind for any future visits to the area.

Excellent stay

This place is so comfortable, the view from the sunroom great, the bed was the best I’ve slept on! The hosts were fantastic with response time and friendliness. We loved the wood burning stove, used it both nights. It made the place even more cozy. Very close drive to GB (could even walk).

We had a fantastic stay in the studio. The space is large enough that it doesn't feel cramped, but more like a one-bedroom apartment. It was very clean and beautiful. Our hosts were very responsive and were accomodating for our late arrival. Close walking distance to downtown. We would happily stay again. Thank you!

Idyllic Space

From the moment we arrived to Jill's warm welcome, we felt comfortable and at ease. The space was clean and lovely, but was surpassed by the stunning view over the river banks. We enjoyed walking the neatly groomed paths, watching the slow movement of the river, surrounded by wild life, plants and trees. At night we found everything we needed to nestle into this cozy home away from home. Thank you so much for providing this peaceful place.

Zen beats expectations

Beautiful property. Well thought out design and more fun to hang out there than in town. We explored the Berks both days and ended early to go back and enjoy the property. Recommend going to the Cheezemonger shop get some wine cheese and bread and enjoy an evening at the zen. Host came out before we left and thanked us. We ended up talking 20 min. Seems like good people

A Sanctuary

This is a sanctuary, perfect for bringing in the new year mindfully and with deep introspection. Among the perks: a gorgeous sun room with heated floors overlooking a field and river, a sauna-shower and a fireplace. Also, a short drive to Great Barrington, which is a lovely town with lots of good food and shops, and a historical home of W.E.B. DuBois. The owners are kind and responsive; they live upstairs and though you can hear them walking on their first floor, it did not interfere with my serenity. I will definitely return!

We enjoy hiking, skiing, swimming, yoga, cooking, gardening and going to live performances (theatre and music). Our area is rich in culture. We have a fabulous farmers market near by.

Great Barrington is a Berkshire Hub, with lots of great restaurants, hiking, farmers market, Lake Mansfield and the Mahawie Performing Arts Center within walking distance from our home.

Our property sits on the Housatonic River that weaves it's way through Great Barrington. We have amazing wildlife with many birds, deer, fox and bunnies visiting daily. We're close to everything (within 10 mins) but off the beaten path.
