Perfect location and lovely home. I stayed a week and enjoyed the comfort of the home, and really loved the location for walking and proximity to parks, beaches and local restaurants and shops. Mel is a fantastic host with great communication. I'd literally like to move in!

Both Mel and Steve very welcoming and very responsive! No concerns with our large dog there at all. Pandosy Village 500m away with many little shops, groceries 750m away. Great neighbourhood, very quiet, bike lane right out door. Complete kitchen with very good equipment, dishes etc. Great linens, bed. Very comfortable for our 6 week stay. Would definitely stay again!

Excellent location. Everything on property we would need for long term stay. Appliances were easy and efficient to operate. Comfortable, homey, and perfect for us. Cool nights through summer allowed open windows. Air conditioner in bedroom for late afternoon/evening. Great hosts! Outstanding city and regional parks!

THIS IS A MUST STAY LOCATION!LOCATION: Very nice neighbourhood. Parks, biking and walking next to the water are within meters of your place. A walk down Patterson/Abbott Street along the lake front you will find some of the most luxurious homes to walk by.PANDOSY STREET - The Urban Fare (Mission Park Shopping Ctr.) Groceries Etc. GOOD HEALTH and WELLNESS Store for Healthy Smoothies - all within 1-2 klm. ORCHARD PARK MALL / The Boardwalk and Downtown all within a few klms.HOSTS: Mel and Steve are awesome and will be sure to please. When we arrived the lights were on and a fresh package of Starbucks coffee was on the counter (nice touch)Sharon and Phil September 2025

Abbott Carriage House

Abbott location was great, and close to trendy shops, cafes, galleries and restaurants. Mel was very social, easy to talk to, and was available if needed. We were in Kelowna in a heat wave, and found the rental was uncomfortably hot because there was no air conditioning just a couple of ceiling fans. It was suitable for bringing your fur babies. Cool tile floors for them.

So cute in a great location!!!

What a cute carriage house! It was a perfect location close to the lake, cafes and restaurants. It was also very peaceful sleeping at night. My puppy loved watching all the walkers, joggers & bikes pass by all day from the patio door. We stayed for 3.5 weeks. Unfortunately, it was also a working trip which meant WiFi was extremely important, sadly I ended up having to use a hotspot off my phone most of the time as it kept losing connection - not a strong signal from the main house. I also needed to ask for a dust buster as there was lots of dust and fur from previous people. The hosts were extremely kind and bought one off Amazon for me. If you plan to stay soon, watch out for the construction next door as the workers start early and work til after dark. Overall, it was a fabulous place and I definitely plan on staying there again next spring :)

Thanks for the honest review and I'm glad your stay was overall enjoyable. The wifi comes from the carriage house and there are a couple of options we could of tried for better service had we known it was an issue for you. I understand the construction next door is an inconvenience. We are looking forward to our neighbors finishing the project soon. I look forward to your next visit.

I had a wonderful week stay in this charming carriage home. The owners were very friendly and supportive, the home was clean and quite. The kitchen was equipt or a nice Easter dinner that we had. The place is close to shopping and is easy to walk to. Plus the lime ebikes and scotters are everywhere. If you are into pickle, the court is close. There are many beaches and easy to get downtown or go on wine tours. I would highly recommend this place for a couple to stay.

South Pandosy Paradise

Myself and my wife stayed at Mel's for the month of September, and we couldn't be any happier with the place. The location is phenomenal, so close to the lake and all the amenities you need. Mel was a very generous host, and was always very quick to reply to any queries we had. Could not recommend any more highly!

Great stay, good location

Lovely property with everything that you need. The kitchen is stalked with enough dishes and kitchen tools to cook whatever you may want to. The property is clean and maintained well. The clothes washer and dryer work well and there is a lovely rainfall shower head in the bathroom. Property owners are friendly and available if you need to communicate with them. Good location close to coffee shops, shopping, restaurants and grocery stores.

Lovely suite, perfect location

Couldn't ask for a better location in Kelowna. The suite has all the necessities and lots of space. Super comfortable bed, enough essentials in the kitchen to prepare basic meals. Would definitely stay again.

Cute private and close to the beach

We enjoyed our stay it’s walking distance to shops restaurants and only steps from the beach. The carriage house exceeded our expectations it was spacious we had everything we needed. We had our dogs with us on vacation we greatly appreciated the hosts accommodating our dogs. the portable ac unit kept us cool! We really appreciated the privacy the hosts were great to deal with. It’s a great value and we would highly recommend staying here! Teneille and Kyle

Self-contained property had everything we needed. Great location - close to everything; bike lane right outside the door. Hosts were great - very responsive. Would definitely stay again!

Lovely place to stay in Kelowna

Perfect place for a single or couple. Kinsmen Park literally 100m away (with others a short bike ride or short to medium walk away), easy walk down beautiful Abbott Street and into City Park. Melanie was welcoming and easy to touch base with as needed. Would stay again for sure :)

Beautiful carriage house in Kelowna

This accommodation was just as shown in the photos- clean and lovely! It is in a beautiful and walkable neighbourhood with a short wander to the lake. We also enjoyed walking to the lovely village of shops nearby. We will be back! The owner was very responsive and made us fell very welcome. Thank you, Mel!

Great location, nice private place, close to the beaches and restaurants.

Really enjoyed the stay. We were close to all amenities the beach was a short walk across the road and it was a beautiful walk to the downtown beach front. Hosts were courteous, the property was clean and the location is great. Would definitely stay there again.
