It was clean and met our needs well for a 2 night stay. Cute place. We werre there in but probably beautiful in the summer on the lake. Brand new washer and dryer was a nice surprise for wet ski clothes.

Perfect cottage on the water!! Enjoyed kayaking and pedal boat with family. Beautiful greenery! Very quick respond.

Definitely not worth the cost of stay. Location was beautiful, but many issues with safety hazards & cleanliness of property.I think most of the pictures speak for themselves. Cleanliness items not pictured were unvacuumed carpet with pet hair, unmade beds & one bed with incomplete linens. Safety items not pictured included multiple soft spots in deck about to rot through (we placed deck furniture over these areas to avoid them) & the outside hose was set to hot water only - a definite burn hazard for smaller children.The outside shower was broken (minor inconvenience), but the lack of dock installation was very disappointing. In addition to finding a loose board, nail up in that area, the bottom of the lake was pure mud there. You would sink in muck to mid-calf, making it difficult to utilize boats or fish anywhere except land.We spoke with owners multiliple times to advise them of issues that we continued to find. One owner said we'd get a discount on the stay & then we were ghosted by both owners without any compensation.Could have "charming," but was definitely not. Rent at own risk.

We apologized for the inconvenience and addressed any cleanliness issues with our house cleaner. We have addressed the other so called safety concerns you had and even purchased a brand new outdoor dining set. I apologize that one of the beds did not have matching linens did not know that would be such an issue to report about. We have received a five star review since your departure. Owners and hosts be AWARE of these renters as they knit pick everything that is wrong with your property so they can try to be reimbursed any way they can. We did not Ghost you as you have our contact information and could have easily called us and discussed all these issues instead of leaving a nasty review. I will be contacting Vrbo as well. This family is not welcomed back.
