No, the host was definitely not welcoming. The day of our arrival I reached out 3 times trying to get check in information and no reply. Had to reach out to VRBO and start a case. Finally heard from the property manager to learn the house was double booked and we were not going to be able to check in. After much negotiation, we were put in a hotel. The solution wasn't ideal, but at least we had somewhere to sleep. I paid in advance for six nights in the house, and only got to use it for 5 nights. I expected a refund for the night we didn't get to stay, but unfortunately the property manager has refused to refund. Claims the hotel was paid for instead, which is not what was agreed or desired. Having the family together in one house was what we paid for.
