Set out from the home to explore the numerous hiking trails that wander through the surrounding hills, offering panoramic vistas of the lush countryside. While you’re out, no visit to Texas would be complete without indulging in some authentic barbeque, of which this area boasts an array of joints serving up the finest smoked meats and traditional southern sides. Pay a visit to the nearby towns of New Braunfels and Gruene, known for their charming shops, delicious dining options, and rich history. For cooling off a little closer to home, the refreshing inground community pool is an excellent choice, with surrounding lounge seating offering a relaxing space for turning the pages of a good book.

Canyon Lake is a popular tourist destination, a beautiful lake located in the Texas Hill Country, just 30 miles north of San Antonio. The lake is surrounded by rolling hills, towering cliffs, and lush forests, and the water is crystal clear and perfect for swimming, boating, fishing, and other water sports. There are also plenty of opportunities for hiking, biking, and camping in the area. If you are looking for a relaxing vacation or a fun weekend getaway, Canyon Lake is the perfect place for you!

Nearby New Braunfels also offers visitors a variety of attractions and activities. The Comal River is a popular destination for tubing, swimming, and kayaking.
