Great apartment for a ski vacation

This was the perfect rental for my family of five, for a weekend of skiing at Magic Mountain. Spotlessly clean and comfortable, with a layout that worked perfectly for us. The location is excellent and the owners were very accommodating. We highly recommend!

Fun in the snow

Great property. Very clean and location was perfect. We were easily able access the trails from the apartment for cross country skiing and snowshoeing. The entire staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be returning. Thank you Dana and the entire crew at Viking Nordic Center!

If you enjoy: Views onto forest, fields and Stratton MT. Privacy yet you're close to so much. Going outside for walks or a ski or staying in your comfortable/modern apt. --this might be the place for you!

Perfect for a skiing family or two

We loved our stay! The unit is spacious and comfortably furnished. The kitchen has recent model appliances and was thoroughly stocked with all the utensils and gadgets that are sometimes missing in rentals, no problem cooking meals there. The only negative to mention is that sound carries from the rental shop below, which might be an issue if you have very young kids that need to nap. If napping little ones is not a concern, that same location means you can't get any closer to the trails! And if you don't want to cook, the rental shop has a soup & sandwich grill for lunch that was delicious.

Almost perfect - need more snow

Other than difficulty with the lockbox the unit is perfect for a family or group of (6) six, very warm inside with all the convienences of home

Hi James, Thanks for the stars! We're glad you enjoyed your stay in spite of the lack of snow. And believe me, if we could have made that happen for you, we certainly would have. Sadly quite a bit of snow arrived in force two days after you left. As for that darn lockbox. We still can't get it open after it initially opened for you The good news is the keys are on the outside so it's more of a nuisance than anything else. We'll get it soon. It gives us something to do on a rainy day. Thanks for leaving the apartment in such great shape when you left. Come back and visit us any time.

How cozy and convenient can it get?

As noted this apartment is located right above the ski shop. If you're renting equipment it can't be more convenient, and even if you have your own you just walk down steps and up the hill 50 feet and you're there! The apartment is clean, fully equipped, and has very comfy chairs and couches that you can sink into after a hard day skiing. The McNairs are very gracious hosts and the whole Viking Center has a family feel about it. We had not skied here beforehand but we will be coming back for sure. Gorgeous trails and plenty of varied terrain. And then how much better to just walk up the stairs instead of cramming people and gear into a cold car?

Great Place for a fun getaway

Very clean, includes all the ammendaties needed in a full kitchen, apartment looks as pictures show. Great location, convenient to many mountains. Accomodated 2 couples with young children very easily. Would definitely book it again
