Awesome Time

We had an awesome time. It was much more relaxing than a stay at a hotel. The grandkids loved it, and i taught the oldest how to play horseshoes. Would definitely book again and recommend it to others.

Lovely lake house

We loved our stay! The house is just as described, had everything we needed. Only 3 minute walk to the water, and we were able to bring our dog with us. Excellent value.

Nice Getaway

If you are looking for a nice quiet and cozy home you have found it! It has all the amenities you will need. We truly enjoyed our weekend! The owners are very attentive to making sure your stay is a pleasurable one. We will definitely rent again.

Peaceful treat

Very quiet and relaxed atmosphere . Community very friendly and a great space for pet lovers.. Owner responds to all correspondences within a timely fashion. My family would definitely visit there again.

Lovely lake house!

Wonderful house, super comfortable with all the amenities. A short walk to the Lake, lots of summer fun! We had a wonderful time swimming and tubing, it was never crowded. Brian was a wonderful host, checked on us, obviously takes great care of the house and ready to help with any questions. We would definitely stay again.

Fun Weekend

The cabin was very adequate for our needs as most of our time was spent on the lake. The boat slip is fairly close to the house and easily accessible. The kitchen is very well equipped for family meal preparation. The owner was very nice, answered our questions and made the rental process very easy.

Enjoying some fishing off the dock at Lake Anna Woods

My family and I had a great time staying in this lovely and cozy Lake Anna Woods cottage. It's a very convenient walk to the boat dock from the cottage and the dock area even has a little beach to go swimming. The nice thing about Lake Anna is that there are so many options for things to do like visit the State Park, the winery, take a fishing charter, or just enjoy the peace and quiet. We took advantage of the peace and quiet by relaxing on the deck and then building a warm fire at night. This cottage had all the amenities we needed and offered that rustic appeal.

When you are looking for rest, respite and recreation...

We stayed at here for a wonderful mid-August trip. The lake is beautiful and the cabin is close to it.... a 2-minute walk. It is perfectly situated about 3 miles (-ish!) from a state park that has great amenities including swimming, picnic, trails, camping... The area itself is rustic with lots of history, there are nice restaurants and wineries. Everyone is friendly and helpful. The host of this property was accommodating, approachable and responsive to any questions or needs. If you are looking for a venue to "get away", relax, and reconnect with nature, this is a great place to accomplish just that!

Lake Get Away

We enjoyed our stay at the lake house. Brian the owner responded quickly through out whole booking process.The house had plenty of room for my family to spread out or join together for some down time. We liked the fact we didn't have to pack all the linens as they were provided for our stay. Everything you needed was convenient. The lake was a short walk away. My family enjoyed sitting outside at the picnic table.There is a ton of shade for the warm days. The kids loved it they could take a quick jump in the lake or do some fishing. My fur baby was a happy camper as well. We will definitely return!

Loved it! A very nice cottage with easy access to the wonderful lake

The house was better than expected, very clean, convenient layout, well stocked with all you need to cook your dinner. The fire ring was great for evening entertainment. The internet was strong and reliable. The lake with swimming and boating area is within a very short (2-3 minutes, ~200 yards) pleasant and easy walk. The water was very clean and warm, we enjoyed swimming, fishing, kayaking and simply sunbathing and relaxing with the wonderful view of the lake! There are also very good biking routs right from the house. Overall this was our one of the best Lake Anna experience winning over several waterfront properties we stayed before. Thank you Brian for renting your house to us!

Can't Wait to Return!!!

My husband, sisters, and a couple of friends and I spent Labor Day at this awesome property - along with our doggies!! It is very hard to find good, dog-friendly properties but this is by far the best I have ever seen. The house had everything we needed, including satellite TV so we didn't miss any football, and we LOVED spending time outside by the fire pit. The neighborhood is very quiet, and there is a private dock and beach a short walk away. We were able to restock on supplies while out on the boat and our dogs loved swimming in the lake at the private beach. Also the best customer service - thank you so much, Brian, for mailing back our raincoats that we left at the house. We will be in touch soon for a return trip!

Great location and privacy

Loved the gated community and overall location. Safety is very important when you’re bringing a fully rigged bass boat on vacation and we never felt like the boat or gear were in danger of being tampered with. There was even an exterior outlet in the shed that we were able to charge our boat batteries on too! The cabin is fully stocked with all of the household essentials. Most of the things I brought from home ie paper towels, dish soap etc I never even used. Wi-Fi was also a bonus. Sadly in this day and age some of us have to work even when we’re on vacation so that was greatly appreciated. Master bedroom mattress topper and memory foam pillow were very comfortable. Check in and check out was also a breeze. Would absolutely stay here again.

Nice summer cabin with a couple exceptions

I really liked the camp. Location is good with all the essentials to cook at home if you want, but close enough to local restaurants if you don't. Comfortable but not luxurious which was great for us. Clean and everything except floodlight by the side door worked. I had only 1 real complaint: the beds and pillows need updating. For kids it is not a big deal but for the parents they don't really allow for a good nights sleep which is important if you're going to be on the water all day or running around sightseeing. Also, it seemed to be closer to the lake in the ad. Not a huge issue but you have to plan ahead if you will be dragging tubes, wakeboards, coolers etc down to the boat slip.

Best of retreat time

Property was as described in listing, perfectly clean and in a excellent condition I did contact the owner as we arrived at the property with a few questions and he was quick to answer back the phone and was very nice and polite. I did recommend this property to many of my friends already and will continue. This was a worry free experience, wher we didn't have to worry about anything in the house. So well furnished and being a professionnal chef, I was a bit concerned on my way out there, but once in the kitchen, I could not think of anything I would miss! Firewood provided for the stove and outside pit. Few minutes walking distance from the lake. Set of tv and audio everywhere, including dvds. You might want to bring a few family game boards, in case the weather doesn't cooperate, while on your stay... I assure your pet will love this place too! Very close driving distance to the state Park. We love outdoors, and were in heaven. Definitely a come back experience. Thanks again,

Nice place for a get-a-way

This house is in a great location. It's in a quiet neighborhood with gated entry, which made it feel nice and safe. The lake is a short walk down a quiet street. There are multiple picnic tables, a small swimming area & a nice dock all at easy access. We don't fish, but I can see why it would be perfect for someone that does. Also, only a few miles away there are a handful of restaurants and a nice little coffee shop where we stopped for lattes multiple times. The house was very clean & it's a nice layout. The master bedroom even has a little sitting area! The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pans and appliances. We communicated multiple times with the owner over the course of our stay. He was very responsive and friendly. Thanks Brian!

We stayed here for work but enjoyed a lot of fishing as well

Brian is very pleasant to work with and the home is a very nice place located on a very quiet and private lot , I will be back again and I highly recommend this rental.

Comfortable and homey

We were very comfortable in the home. Everything we needed for our weeks stay was provided as far as linens, tp, paper towels, and kitchen items. Our only complaint is there were a number of dogs running loose in the neighborhood, so we weren’t able to tie our dog out without constant supervision, or walk her without fear of coming upon the dogs in the neighborhood.
