Beaver's Bungalow is a charming lake house that offers a perfect getaway for nature lovers and water enthusiasts alike. Nestled on 3 private wooded acres, this cozy retreat provides a serene atmosphere with plenty of space to relax and unwind. The interior features comfortable furnishings, a well-equipped kitchen, and inviting living areas, making it ideal for family gatherings or a weekend with friends.

The neighborhood is very peaceful with abundant wildlife. Home is surrounded with brooks, and ferns and you may even see some albino deer that live close by.

The neighborhood is located in a cove on the public side of the lake which makes travel very easy by car or boat. It is conveniently located just 1 mile from the Food Lion, Subway, Pizza shop, Dollar store, ABC store and Chinese restaurant. Also minutes from the local cidery, tap house, and Vitos Italian restaurant.

Step outside to enjoy the beauty of the surrounding forest and the peaceful sounds of nature. The lake is just a short 12-minute walk away, where you can spend your days swimming, fishing, or simply soaking up the sun. The community amenities include a private boat launch for easy access to the water, a picnic area for enjoyable outdoor meals, and a sandy beach perfect for lounging.

For those who love boating, the boat slips are available on a first-come, first-served basis, allowing you to take your boat out during the day. Just remember to pull it out at night and park it back at the bungalow. Whether you’re looking for adventure or relaxation, Beaver’s Bungalow is the ideal spot to create lasting memories by the lake.

The place was beautiful I was clean. It was amazing. It was well stocked. Communication was great. All questions were answered ahead of time. She checked on us. Send us message, make sure everything was okay. That was perfect.

Lake Anna Get Together

Several classmates and wives met at Lake Anna and enjoyed 3 days of activities and meals. This was a perfect quiet place for us to recover after each activity. If you need tv, please bring a Wi-Fi hotspot for the tv. Will stay here again.

A cute little place to stay! You can tell the owner but a lot of love into the property. Didn’t realize there were stairs and didn’t get a check in email beforehand but overall was good. We did see the albino deer too!

We stayed 5 days, for a motorcycle trip, the place is very clean and very quiet, we appreciated the barrier for the entrance to protect our equipment. Grocery store is 5 min. Everything was very clean and perfect for our stay. We're still wondering if it's a disadvantage or an advantage, there's no internet provided, we used our cellular data and it wasn't enough to transmit on the TV. But we had a great stay anyway.

Great Cozy Property

The property layout was great for our group to both rest and relax while we were in Lake Anna for business. The fresh flowers on the dining table were an unexpected touch. The only negative was the small hair found in the Queen Bed when I pulled back the covers. The listing says there it accommodates an RV, but I would not recommend trying to get an RV onto the property due to the tight driveway leading to the house. Overall, I highly recommend this property for your getaway!

Darling Lake Hideaway

Filled with darling lake decor, secluded but gated community, well maintained, very nice facility. Appliances needed a bit more attention (esp oven). Neighbors near but out of sight. Two bedrooms and one bath are all upstairs. Hauling a boat on a trailer with a truck, we could not turn in the driveway - requiring a back up. Also could not conveniently use the neighborhood boat ramp, due to "no parking the trailer" nearby, requiring a 15-30 min walk back to bungalow. However, Anna Point boat ramp is not far. Beautiful surroundings - mountain laurel in full bloom.

Beavers Bungalow

The space was pleasant and well designed, however some of the finishes were in disrepair and the space seemed as if it had not been thoroughly cleaned. In particular, the bedding on one of the beds was very evidently dirty and the bathroom floor was sticky to the touch and even had a hair ball from a previous guest. In terms of the finishes, the floor tile in the bathroom was broken and sharp in some places and the headboard in one of the bedrooms was falling apart with the nails used to fasten it barely holding it onto the wall. The biggest inconvenience with our stay, however, was that the gate access code for the community provided with the reservation was incorrect which meant when we arrived after dark with our children asleep in the car we had to wait over an hour in order to get past the gate. Again, the space itself was very nice and was very functional for our family - our experience was just impacted by what seemed like a lack of attention to property maintenance.

Family visit

Came to Virginia to see family and watch grandson play football for Louisa High School. Had perfect fall weather, the cottage was immaculate and nicely decorated. Very close to grocery store and Lake Anna. Enjoyed watching some deer in the mornings while having breakfast. Would highly recommend staying in this lovely cottage.

Charming privacy.

The cottage was lovely with lots of charming touches and complete privacy from the rest of the world. The kitchen was well equipped and easy to work in. We had a lovely brunch for 8 (other family staying nearby came over) in the spacious dining area.

Great getaway near Lake Anna

beautiful cottage and very well decorated. Responsive hosts to requests. The cottage is in a gated community lake about a half mile walk or 2 minute drive to the beach/kayak launch area. Our family really enjoyed the use of the kayaks, thanks!

Terrible because I never got to stay

BREANNE-I wish I could write a review about how fun and lovely it was. But I just can’t do that because Jessica ignored us for two weeks and told us the night before the trip she “ double booked “ the property, stated we will get full refund than proceeded to ignore us and Vrbo reps. Once Vrbo stated she wasnt answering , I had it escalated then received my money. Do not book with Jessica! SAVANNAH-Do not book with Jessica. She literally ignored us from the moment we booked up until the day before to say we “double booked” when that’s impossible because the dates would’ve been unavailable if that’s the case. As soon as my friend asked for our refund, that she said she would issue a full one, she decided to be inactive and ignore us and vrbo when they tried to reach out to her as well. She is very unprofessional and needs to have her property removed from this site so people don’t get scammed by her again. It took us 2 weeks to finally get our money back after we booked the reservation 2 weeks before that. Me and my friends have been going through this stress an entire month all cause she wanted to try and scam the wrong people. DO NOT BOOK! MADISAN-Me and my girls were so excited to stay at Jessica’s place! When we booked the place about two weeks in advance, Jessica didn’t say a word to our friend bre who booked the property. Didn’t give us a hello, welcome, thank you for booking. Nothing. Not until the day before we were supposed to go, she wants to tell bre “property management “ doubled booked us. Which she had no explanation for how or why we were double booked. But thank goodness we didn’t fly out, because we would have been stuck. After waiting two weeks we finally got our refund. Not a fun experience!! Do not book with this scammer! RAQUEL- JESSICA IS A SCAMMER
