The Village at squaw is a great central location, the room was nice and it was perfect for a family of 4 plus with space for 3 in each bedroom (single pull outs) and a sleeper sofa in the main room.

Very comfortable apartment and located directly at the base by the Funitel. Great views and it has all the space you need. John was quick to respond to any questions and had recommendations for various things to do and see while in town.

Perfectly located with wonderful service from the host

The property is perfectly located - just a minute walk to the Funitel. The condo has many bedding configurations, making it wonderful for families and friends. John, the host, was extremely responsive and gracious.

Fantastic location

We loved our stay at this condo. The condo itself has everything you need and is in the best location (in my opinion). Gorgeous views of the ski mountain and literally a 2 minute walk from from the condo to the main lifts and gondolas. Also right on the doorstep of numerous restaurants, shops and the supermarket. Ski lockers on the ground floor very convenient. Also the sofa bed in the living room is the most comfortable I've ever experienced. Will definitely try to stay at this condo next time we visit Palisades Tahoe. Highly recommend.

Sister birthday get away

I arranged to stay here for my birthday celebration with my two sisters. We were pleasantly surprised at the size and convenient location. Being so close to restaurants and shops was fantastic. We enjoyed the bike rentals within the village which allowed us to take a ride along the river. I highly recommend this rental and hope to come back here in the near future.

Mother daughter ski trip

The trip was fabulous. The condo location could not be beat! The kitchen had everything one could need! John was a great host! Very communicative. Yana went above and beyond to ensure we were able to store our groceries and luggage before check in was available. We cannot wait to return!

Ideal ski condo location

This Squaw Valley condo location couldn’t be more perfect, in the center of the village, with balcony view of KT 22 and Red Dog lifts and runs, straight shot down with the elevator to ski lockers on floor one and garage below with easy parking next to elevators, and floor one entrance to the village with stores and restaurants right there ( including excellent Fireside Pizza a few steps away). Walk to the lifts is a couple of minutes! The condo itself is nice and sufficient for a small party and for a limited time (my wife and I stayed for six nights). Both beds have memory foam pads on top, which you tend to sink into, but it gives you a soft feeling of comfort. There is a nice size dining table that can seat several people. Overall a very nice condominium.

Great Stay with Amazing Location

My recent stay at Olympic Valley was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment I stepped foot into the property until the day of departure, every aspect of the experience was exceptional. Upon arrival, I was greeted with a warm welcome and a meticulously clean property that exceeded my expectations. The attention to detail was evident in every corner, from the stylish decor to the thoughtful amenities What sets this property apart is the sense of home it offers. Unlike impersonal hotels, this property feels like a true home away from home, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the local culture and community. The access to a hot tub after a long day of snowboarding was a great amenity. Additionally. The location can’t be beat as you are right in the middle of the village action. Walking to the lifts was so convenient. I would highly recommend this property for anyone looking for convenience and great service.

We spent a week at John's apartment 3-346 at Squaw. We have two kids under age 5. It was perfect. The unit is great, plenty of room to sleep and play. It can be a little bit noisy at night because it's right off a main re-supply thoroughfare for trucks and you can hear the snow making etc, but if you close the windows you're fine. The building has a hot tub etc, and it's very well located. Easy access to the garage if you need it, and the ski locker which is nice. Across the street from Squaw Kids, right in the middle of the Village. I did not get in my car one time for seven days! John is a pleasure to work with. Responsive, considerate, professional. I would note that since you are renting the unit from a private party and not The Village, you are responsible for things like dishwasher detergent and garbage bags, and any maid service would have to be contracted through a third party. Minor details, and ones which John is addressing, but worth noting if you are also managing little kids etc. Great experience overall!

The best location in the Village at the base of the ski resort. Lifts are a quick walk, restaurants and shops are outside the building entrance. Nicely furnished unit with very comfortable beds. The sofa sleeper was the best we've ever tried, it was great support and well made. I even asked the owner for the furniture brand name as I would buy it ! There are 2 single chairs in each bedroom that fold out to a comfortable single sleeper as well as 2 sofas in the living room that are sleepers. This unit has a wonderful view of the mountain/slopes from every room, you can see the slopes while lying in bed! There are outdoor jacuzzis with a bathroom to shower that has towels provided. The towels in the unit are thick and plush. The parking is below with luggage carts in the garage and bldg elevator. We bought our groceries in Truckee as the mart in the village is limited. One night it was heavily snowing so we ordered takeout and it is just 20 seconds from the bldg door to walk to 2 restaurants. I think this is the best location as it is closest to the slopes, you can see the Funical and Gondola to Alpine line from the unit, it is that close! The kids' ski school is directly across the way. Our family had a great ski vacation and this unit's location was key.

Great Property Right at the Lifts

Had a great week at John’s property, everything was perfect and the location couldn’t be better. John was great to frequently check in on how our stay was going.

Great location

You really can’t beat the location but the place is very cluttered. Nice owners, however there are a lot more items in the unit then there are in the pictures. I would say this unit is more equipped for 5 people and not more then that.

A perfect spring reunion!

We enjoyed the beautiful views from the condo, the ease of access to the mountain, the comfort of the unit, and all the amenities. We felt well taken care of by our host, with easy and welcoming check in and easy check out. We look forward to coming back in the winter!

Cannot beat this location!

This location was better than we imagined. Park the car and never have to drive after. Plenty of carts available to bring up luggage. Condo stocked with everything you need. Locker conveniently located. But best part, is you walk out of the building to center of village to all the restaurants and shops and out the other entrance you are at the gondola, lifts, ticket window and rentals. And with just a short walk you can hop on the shuttle to check out Alpine. We will definitely stay here again!

Great Thanksgiving stay during Covid!

We booked 4 nights over Thanksgiving, and while there wasn't a lot of snow, we had a great time and really enjoyed our stay in this unit. It's super close to slopes & shops, had plenty of space, and John was a great virtual host. Would definitely book again!
