Beautiful newly renovated condo with ocean and pool views from the fully screened porch.

This unit features a brand new expanded kitchen featuring stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops, and a wine fridge. Enjoy the ocean breeze and views from the screened porch featuring brand new Polywood furniture, perfect for meals or relaxation.

Other features include: luxury vinyl plank flooring and a new washer and dryer. With two Smart TVs, 43" 4k Ultra HD Smart TV in living room and 55" 4K Ultra HD Smart TV in bedroom, you'll be able to login to your accounts to stream Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, and Amazon Prime. These great amenities are rounded out with brand new furniture in the bedroom and a newly remodeled bathroom with a new vanity, both of which feature plenty of storage.

Need to do some work on your trip? A convenient desk in the foyer makes for a great work space. Last but certainly not least, you'll have access to the Port O' Call community pool and miles of beautiful beach. Everything you'll need to enjoy a wonderful stay on Isle of Palms!

**Important Notice: Please be advised that a siding and window construction project will be taking place on all Port O' Call buildings except for Building D. The work is scheduled to start on November 4th and continue through mid-March. During this period, guests may experience construction noise from adjacent buildings.**

A great getaway

My wife and 3 kids (7,5,2) stayed for 4 nights.I was a little skeptical upon arrival.While the unit is clean, it is definitely showing some wear and tear. Bathroom is quite outdated and toilet shows signs of damage from a lot of usage. Doors, patio and windows all seem pretty old and beat up. We could also smell the last renters food still when we walked in with our luggage.However, the food smell went away and the wear and tear became a none issue as the functionality and proximity to the beach far outweighed any of that!King bed in bedroom fit myself and 7 and 5 year olds. Pull out couch fit my wife and 2 year old.Usage of the Port-O-Call pool was great too. However, it wasn't heated so quite cold given that nights still get down to single digits in April. Beach chair and umbrella rental company was fantastic. Book the night before at 7PM and our stuff was on the beach the next day by 8AM. Not cheap but helpful especially for those flying in who can't use their own beach stuff.While the location is amazing for Beach and Pool access, there isn't really anywhere walkable to get food or pickup quickly. You need to either drive to Wild Dunes resort (20+ min walk for adults) or drive outside the gates to Sullivan's Island, Shems Creek or Mount Pleasant which I highly reco. The food options on IOP are surprisingly not great even if you could walk. Sullivans- Home Town BBQShems Creek - Reds for drinks and a grouper sandwichMount Pleasant - Tons of options!We'll be back!

Uncomfortable!

The Port O Call complex is in a nice location. This particular condo was clean and looks nice. However, the couch was the most UNCOMFORTABLE piece of furniture we have every seen or used! The springs are broke and the cushions have large indentations in them. If the owners are willing to accept payment for use of their condo, they should at least have a couch that is suitable to sit on. This is the first time we have stayed in Port O Call. My recommendation would be to stay on the third floor. This unit is on the second floor and you can hear everything from the unit above.

The sofas were not comfortable at all to sit on, old and needs replacing. We had some older guests and the tub was dangerous due to the high sides, I had to purchase a handicap side rail to be able to safely get in and out. If furniture was changed and some type of safety rail on bathtub this would be a great condo. Views of the beach were beautiful from the porch.

Great Rental But View Not The Greatest

Port O Call C202

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We just returned from a week's stay at Port O Call C202. Overall, it was a lovely place; you do not have a direct view of the ocean though (palm tree obstruction). The screen door is warped and needs replaced. We had 2 small children with us and had to utilize the screen door lock because there is no deadbolt on the main door, but due the condition of the screen door locking it was VERY difficult. Unfortunately, we had to contact maintenance to fix the garbage disposal and the commode lid just a few days into our stay. The sheets for the twin bed need replaced. Not only was it extremely difficult to make the bed (the mattress fits too snug between the cabinets), the sheets are too small and barely stay on the bed. I would recommend Island Reality doing a walk through to check behind housekeeping. The bathtub drain stopper was covered in mold/mildew and our 4 year old even commented on how there was a black ring in the drain (she thought it was a black hair tie). There was also a terrible fish odor in the kitchen from the garbage disposal when we arrived. We ran hot water and dish detergent in it for several minutes, which helped. An extra 15-30 minutes per cleaning session may alleviate any future housekeeping woes. We didn’t complain about the housekeeping during our trip because there are a lot of unstable people in the world these days and didn’t want anyone to do anything vindictive during our stay. You may also want to include in the description that the washer/dryer is stacked and not full size.
