Cozy house
The house was clean and well maintained. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well supplied. When we rented, the pictures of the canal view had not been updated. The view just showed mangroves. There is now a boat club across the canal and a large condo building. The boat club was not an issue. They were quiet and had reasonable hours of operation. The biggest problem we had was that the owner was strict about the maximum temperatures for the pool and hot tub. In order not to overwork the heater they will only heat the pool to 82 degrees and the hot tub to 99 degrees. When the pool temperature read 82 degrees, it was only in the mid to high 70s when we checked it with a thermometer. I was the only one of the six of us who would brave the pool due to the temperature. The dock could use repair. The boards were very squishy in places. We also had 1 day, when the tide was very low, that it was too shallow in the canal to lower the boat into the water.
