Fantastic Stay!

We brought our mother to the beach to celebrate her 92 birthday. The condo was exactly as pictured. We had everything we needed and the views were fantastic. A very short walk to the beach which was great for our mom. She even enjoyed cooling off in the pool. We would definitely stay here again and longer next time!!

Absolutely perfect!

Property and location was beautiful and exactly as described.Almost like having your own private beach as it was quiet and sparsely populated. Majestic sunrises!The entire experience was easy and smooth. Highly recommend!

Girls Getaway

Four ladies of a certain age stayed a week. The condo was extremely clean and well kept. It was well furnished with dishes, cookware, silverware, serving dishes, spices, coffee, dish soap, etc. Everything we needed. Management company was very quick to respond to questions. Looking forward to returning.

The place was a bit outdated, but the showers were really nice. Our biggest issue was the roaches that were everywhere. They were in the drawers in the kitchen, all over the utensils, in the bathrooms and even in the dishwasher. Some of the bedspreads (the twin bedroom) had stains on them too. But the white linens were crisp and clean.

Very nice beach apartment

This is a gem, we enjoyed our stay very much! Well appointed and very comfortable, large 3/2 that accommodated us nicely. We tried to leave the apartment a tiny bit better than we arrived, we changed the batteries in the living room, dining room, and kitchen clocks and took great care when replacing pots and pans and Tupperware. We will be back if the owners will have us!

Good and not so good

Building is getting old and needing refreshing. Pool is very nice and good size. Bedroom with queen bed was just horrible and lumpy. Called mgmt co next morning but got no solution for 4 days when I called once again. Foam topper did the trick. We were warned about the extra supports on the decks but didn’t realize they were about every 3ft! Pretty ugly and spoiled the view for sure. but hopefully the work gets done quickly.

Condo itself is immaculate

The unit is beautiful and met our needs perfectly. I wouldn’t recommend this property to anyone with mobility issues as the elevator was out much of our trip. They’d fix it and then it would break again. It needs to be replaced. The beach was gorgeous and the view was amazing. Overall it was worth the price.

Photo and video need to show building supports

The condo unit itself (inside) was a 5 star and the photos truly represented it. We enjoyed the beach and pool and the spacious clean, well furnished condo. However, we were very disappointed when we saw the condition of the building and the numerous supports (8? on our balcony alone) and substantial jack supports for the entire building as well as all the walkways and balconies. My husband, myself and a friend (all 80 or above) were somewhat uneasy about being on the balcony which was a shame because, as the ad said, it is a lovely 180 degree view. However, to our dismay, it is not completely unobstructed, as the ad said (due to the many supports) and we feel there should be more honesty in the photos and videos used in the Shorehom by the Sea ads. We were happy with the unit inside but would not return until the structure problems of the building are corrected. There is a sentence in the ad telling of the supports but the photos and video do not indicate this. We are sorry we have to write negatively about this because we loved this unit, the beach, the pool and location, etc.

Great getaway

This is a great location right on the beach! The condo was clean and inviting, beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had most of what we needed. We loved the beach views and the relaxed atmosphere. The pool heater was not on our first couple of days, but it was fixed. We tried to reach the rental manager twice about small issues and got a recorded message once, and an answering service once - but neither issue was urgent. The only things we wished the condo had was a DVD player and instructions for the stereo system. Overall a GREAT location and experience. We would definitely recommend and rent again!!

Staycation

Property has a great location. Very family oriented vacation property. Many kids around the pool and beach area. Very close walking distance to the beach. Balcony views are breath taking. Few maintenance features that property owner has to take care of: Main sliding door to balcony not opening due to rust from salt accumulation, balcony chairs have to be replaced. Otherwise apartment is in great conditions with very nice upgraded bathrooms. We had a very nice family time.

This condo is gorgeous, comfortable, spotlessly clean, and perfectly located. We couldn't have asked for a better experience from our check in to our check out with Florida Vacay. We can't wait to come back!

Almost perfect!

A beautiful condo in a beautiful location, and a great value! Clean and spacious, comfortable beds and furniture, tons of fluffy towels, a large well-appointed kitchen and a spectacular view. The bathrooms are as lovely as the condo with granite countertops and extra amenities. The kitchen has everything you need and more! The only small negatives were a lack of extra toilet paper (only 2 rolls) and no foil or plastic wrap in the kitchen. Very minor issues that do not detract from the overall experience. The pool area is very nice with plenty of chairs and tables. The beach was never crowded and the grounds are very well maintained. We would definitely stay there again!!!

The Photos don't do it Justice!

I couldn't have asked for a better condo and location for my weekend getaway with my sister and 2 sisters-in-law! The condo was clean, beautiful and fully stocked with everything we needed. The beds were super comfortable and the showers were great! It was secluded enough so we weren't battling people on the beach or at the pool but it was just minutes away from shopping and restaurants. Definitely earned a 5-star rating!

Perfection

We loved our stay, and can't wait to come back again next year. Loved the updated kitchen and bathrooms. We didn't check out too many of the local sites, but did walk the beach, collect shells, and set up our "beach compound" just steps from the condo.

Shorehom is my favorite ocean condo

Shorehom 35 is beautifully decorated and better than the pics could possibly show. It is my favorite place to watch and listen to the ocean from a balcony that seems suspended over the waves. The property is clean, spacious and well equipped. It is located in a low-traffic area as far as New Smyrna Beach is concerned. Extremely friendly property manager who is on call and ready to help. You will enjoy your time at Shorehom.
