It was our family Christmas Trip. Our family of five had the most wonderful time aboard Calypso. The boat is beautiful, spacious & well stocked. However, what truly made the trip so amazing was Captain Bob! He was super knowledgeable and capable. He’s very attentive and interacted with our family beautifully. Also the icing on the cake was our chef Rigo! He made sure we had 3 meals a day and tea time. It was truly everything and more! 10/10

awesom vacation

This catamaran with Captain Robert is the most memorable family adventure vacation we have ever experienced. My husband and I quickly understood that Captain Robert is an experienced skilled boat captain and as a result, we were able to totally relax with our kids and take in all the water adventures! The boat is very comfortable and fully equipped for any water activities we wanted to pursue. Also,Robert made sure he understood what we wanted to focus on and then calculated the itinerary and adjusted based on the weather conditions,to maximize the fun! He knows all the best kept secret spots and how to navigate the pristine waters and culture. The boat was fully stocked with food and beverage provisions, and we were spoiled with a wide variety of meals that were always delicius. We enjoyed every moment on this vacation and will cherish these priceless memories for a lifetime. Thank you, Captain Robert. We are looking forward to more adventures with you!

Great family vacation

Captain Robert was absolutely amazing !!! He is a wonderful cook, we hadsteak, shrimp, and there was always an amazing spread of fruit to snackon!!! we were absolutely spoiled. Also, Captain let our son who is 11 helphim with the anchor, with the tender/dingy and the captain showed him allthe cool things about driving and running a big boat like this and my sonabsolutely loved it. Captain Robert took us to the coolest islands, divespots, snorkel spots and the coolest local bars/restaurants the islandshad to offer it was an experience of a lifetime. I also want to say, my 11year old had a major asthma attach while on board. Captain Robertliterally stayed up all night, helping me get my son to breath properly heis very knowledgeable and super helpful i consider him a friend to me andmy family for life. Thank you Captain Robert, the memories you helped uscreate are priceless we will see you again soon !!!Greg

Excellent Vacation!

I wanted to write a review of my family’s experience with Captain Robert . I will begin by saying that this trip, start to finish, is our entire family’s favorite vacation. Like many of you, we did not fully know what to expect and even thought about only going for a few nights just to be sure. However, we booked the full week and it was the best decision we could have possibly made. Captain Robert is the consummate professional. He began the trip by letting us know that he is always there to assist, but would not get in the way of family memories being made. His knowledge of the boat and the surrounding Belizean islands is nothing short of incredible. Our entire process began with excellent communication that outlined my family’s interests, including food/drink likes/dislikes in order to stock the boat with appropriate provisions. Once onboard, Captain Robert and I made final decisions regarding the agenda for the week, including which islands made the most sense for my family. Although he is happy to set off north for anyone interested in the more tourist locales of Caye Caulker and San Pedro, he was incredibly flexible to my family’s desire to go south and see some of the smaller more quiet and pristine islands. For us, this was the perfect direction, including Goff’s Caye, Rendezvous, Bluefield Ranch, Tobacco and South Water Caye.

The captain has been a sailing enthusiast since he was 17 years old. He sailed across the Atlantic Ocean and made it to the legendary Cape Horn.
He is a qualified PADI scuba diving instructor MSDT.
Pursuing his passion, he received his PZZ Captain License and became a PZZ sailing instructor .
He is highly accomplished sailor and holds a professional Captain License 200 Ton , as well as STCW.
Captivated by the beauty of the coral reef in Belize, he’s been sailing there since 2008 he received his Belize Commercial Captain License and knows all the interesting island, atolls, and other picturesque places around.
Traveling is his passion. He loves healthy cuisine, swimming, and scuba diving in clear azure water.

Access to the ocean makes it even more wonderful, and opens countless possibilities, from experiencing the second largest barrier reef in the world, through exploring hundreds of sun swept tropical islands, to wandering around three major offshore atolls. Coral reefs are extended throughout 130 miles along the coast of Belize; its waters, protected from the ocean swell, are full of fish, coral and other fabulous creatures. I’ve been sailing many yachts and sailing ships between 35 and 495 feet long and each of them had its advantages and disadvantages. When I saw Lagoon 43 Power Catamaran for the first time, it didn’t take me long to assess the exceptional attributes of its 940 sq ft area.
Lagoon 43 Power has a nice classic shape of the side line. Being a catamaran gives it a double stability and even more usable space, which proves very useful when you’re on a holiday cruise. Convenient, spacious cabins with bathrooms and air conditioning make the luxurious vacation even more comfortable. Another factor adding up to the comfort the vessel offers is lots of space on the deck. The stern platform is the favorite place of the snorkelers, divers and fans of other water sports.
The second deck is a perfect spot for fishing lovers.
My sea experience convinced me to choose a motor catamaran for charter it gives more options and it moves more easily. Lagoon 43 Power is fitted with two soundproof engines, which makes it possible to move around regardless of weather conditions. Aboard there is also a 20 diving tank and diving equipment.
