Great stay

We stayed at the Squire cottage this year for our anniversary. We will stay there next year but longer. The property is very quiet and a great place to just relax.

Great for birding

This property is a great location for birding. It’s located next to Goose Pond Fish and Wildlife area. The cottage was clean and quiet. Only a few minutes from Linton.

Home to Visit Family

This was our 2nd stay. We absolutely loved our cabin. Everything was perfect, check in/out was easy, and the cabin was comfortable and inviting. We will be back again.

Tranquil retreat

This cabin is fantastic. The host thought of everything along with heated bathroom floors. Cozy and private. A great place to relax.

Perfect getaway home

We found this little gem while looking for something to stay in close to family. It was absolutely perfect. Beautifully decorated. So clean. It was everything we needed. I would definitely recommend this beautiful place.

Charming and very close to Goose Pond

The cottage is very nice and is ideally close to Goose Pond. Communication with the owners was exceptionally good. (We would suggest bringing your own groceries, unless you don't mind driving to the Walmart in Linton for them.)

Adorable cabin

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this secluded cabin! It had all the amenities, was clean and beautiful setting. Check-in process was simple as well as communication to have a late check out.

A Wonderful Country Oasis

The property is beautiful. We were drawn outside for most of our visit. The interior of the cabin is comfortable, nicely decorated and well-equipped. This is certainly a five star property for someone looking for a country get-away.

Perfect getaway

This place is the perfect quiet getaway! The only regret we had was only booking for one night. The pond out front along with the firepit made for a wonderful relaxing night. Everything needed was there.

Brief road trip stop

Great communication from owner. Rural location was very peaceful and easy to access on our cross country road trip. Beautiful little cottage with nice touches like modern, high quality bathroom and great kitchen area. Pond outside the door was beautiful. Our stay was brief, but it was wonderful

Goose Pond Cottage - great spot!

Stayed at this spot with spouse & pups for about 2 weeks while in the area for work. If you like to be in an isolated spot for your stay, this is the perfect place - very rural, quiet, no distractions.The cabin is really nice with all you need for the stay, the grounds are great for walks and just sitting and watching the wildlife go by. Had fun fishing in the pond, and just watching the fish jump, frogs & turtles swimming around.All correspondence with the host was answered quickly and accurately.Linton is really close and has good shopping and food places.All in all, great spot, would definitely stay here again!

Peaceful Getaway

If you're looking to be immersed in nature, look no further! An absolutely beautiful home tucked away next to it's own private pond. The grounds of Pleasant Grove are also incredible, we wish we would have had more time to explore! Host did a phenomenal job of providing us with all of the details in advance and also provided all of the necessities to make for a great stay. Highly recommend as we will be back again in the future.

Beautiful Peaceful Setting

The cottage and surroundings are beautiful. A great place to unwind. We did a little fishing, caught a turtle. I released him and gave up fishing, didn't want to risk a turtle swallowing a hook. Lots of walking paths for the puppies to get exercised.

Great and Private Location

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Goose Pond Cottage. Peace, quiet, and relaxation was the norm with occasional excursions to close-by towns being quick and easy. If you upgrade the quality of the beds, and put a king in the loft with the twins in the small room, we would quickly book another stay for October. :-) Overall, a very pleasant stay. Thank you.

We will be back!

This place was absolutely wonderful! Very clean, very peaceful and we will be back! The only thing I would recommend is bringing bug spray or a big citronella candle. There was a small one on the table outside but it was just not strong enough. The mosquitos tore us up when we sat on the porch at night. Other than that this place was top notch for our anniversary getaway.

Great cottage!!

We totally enjoyed our stay! It was comfy and everything on the listing was correct. The pond only has little catfish and small rock bass. Still nice to catch something. Internet was great! Definitely will come back!!!
