Nice stay

We were in town for a graduation and found this to be the perfect spot between Austin and San Marcos! Cute and clean studio with many thoughtful touches. Check in & out were easy! Requires many stairs for entry, not an issue for us but may be for some. We would absolutely stay here again.

Cozy nook

This modest sized garage apartment is plenty roomy for one or two people and very comfortable. Clean and inviting, it’s enough out in the country to be peaceful, but close enough to town for restaurants and fun. Nice place to get away.

Peaceful spring break stay

This was our third stay at Marian's studio rental. It is perfect for a couple's getaway with approximately 30-40 minute drive to activities in Austin. Great restaurants in nearby Buda, Kyle, and Driftwood.. Also, San Marcos is about 25 minutes away for excellent outlet shopping. Studio is very clean, has a comfortable Murphy bed, and a great shower. Marian has thoughtfully stocked the fridge with a few cold beverages for your arrival. Thanks for another wonderful stay!

Great Place to Stay!

Very comfortable and very quite. So much better than a hotel! Host communicated well. This is one of those place you want to keep a secret so it’s available when you want it.

Lovely and Quiet Getaway

Very nicely appointed space. Very quiet neighborhood in a rural setting but only 15 minutes from my daughter's house. A wonderful alternative to staying in a hotel, especially while COVID is still a real risk in crowded places. Very clean, lots of amenities, and the bed was pretty comfortable with a good choice of pillows. We will be looking to rebook here first every time we travel to visit my daughter.

Great shower

My partner and I wanted to shower before our ceremony at Chapel Dulcinea. We chose this location because it advertised being 5.5 miles from the venue. Imagine my surprise when I went to drive here and it was 14 miles. Lovely property, and great shower. Not 5.5 miles from Chapel Dulcinea unless you are a bird.

Great Getaway!

The guest house is wonderful and great for a quiet getaway. Property is secluded and beautiful. The guest house is clean and bright and very well equipped. We will return again when back this way.

Immaculate

This property was so well thought out. It’s separate from the house in a very cute, arched stone patio that separates the two. The decor was magazine worthy and the cleanliness was immaculate. I only wish my trip was longer so I could have enjoyed the stay longer.

Quiet Buda retreat!

My husband and I were in town for a family wedding, and this property was the quiet retreat we needed in between festivities. The apartment is perfect for a couple. The amenities including a few snacks and coffee went a long way and were much appreciated. Thank you!

After the sudden and unexpected loss of my husband, I found short-term rentals as a way to generate income from previously non preforming real estate assets. In doing so, I learned my passion for travel and family vacation experiences would benefit other families and travelers.

I've become as consultant for vacation home rental businesses, advocate for the short-term rental and shared economy industry, and Realtor for buyers and sellers of second-home, vacation home and short-term rental investment properties.

Located on a quiet 5+ acre wooded estate, you can be within about 20 miles from Austin area attractions. Or, come visit the best of Buda and Hays County. Buda with the slogan, "Breathe Easy Here" is known as the Outdoor Capital of Texas.

Look for the water tower off I-35 and exit at Cabela's to visit a 185,000 sq.ft. retail showroom and museum quality taxidermy displays.

Enjoy hike and bike trails at Stagecoach Park and Visitor Center where the annual trail of lights event in December is a holiday tradition.

Fall Creek Vineyards, The Salt Lick BBQ, and Trattoria Lisina are just 10 miles W on FM 967.
