Great house for large parties and loved that there was a mirror in each room, the little details like that are awesome (we had a bunch of girls getting ready for work, very needed)! Beautiful neighborhood as well!

Our stay was really wonderful - we had 17 family members meeting after 20 years - it was nice family reunion - the rooms were spacious - it had a place for children to play - the kitchen and dining and living room were comfortable to talk to the wee hours - lots of sunlight on the first floor - the beds were comfortable - best part everyone got there private space overall it was comfortable - we catered our food from a South Indian Restaurant Priya - it was pretty delicious. Overall it was nice catching up with family and be able to share a warm and spacious space.

Exceptional!

The host did an excellent job of allowing a most pleasurable experience. Syed was very communicative and responsive. The property is just as advertised and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. We will be back!

We were there for a family member’s funeral so the stay was sad but the house was great! Perfect location, plenty of room and great place during a sad, stressful time.

The house was perfect for our weekend in Elmhurst. Syed was very helpful and prompt with communication. If there was a criticism it would be that we wished there were more linens provided, especially hand towels, wash clothes, and kitchen towels.

The property has multiple unaddressed maintenance issues, including significant mildew in two showers; dirt, marks, and damaged drywall on walls and ceilings; corroded countertop lighting that did not work; and towel racks torn off or broken in two bathrooms. There was also an ant infestation on several floors, which the spray provided did not resolve.In terms of cleanliness, the house had not been fully vacuumed, there were marks on multiple surfaces, and we found cobwebs and dust on light fixtures and in the kitchen. The beds were generally clean. The couches smelled of old sweat.On the positive side, there are two large dining room tables with sturdy chairs — well-suited for our party of 9 — and the kitchen was well-stocked with dishes and supplies.The host proposed doing some maintenance during our stay and offered a refund of the cleaning fee. However, significant maintenance is still needed, and the majority of our party were elderly guests, which made the condition of the property more of a concern.A few other things to be aware of: there are no lamps in the bedrooms (overhead lighting only); only bath towels were provided per guest initially; and there are no chairs in the bedrooms. Additionally, one of the 5 bedrooms is a sleeping area off the living room, separated by a curtain rather than a door. The host indicated maintenance and updates are planned.
