About this space
6 Bedrooms/3 Full Bath on 2 Acres in the Woods. All 6 bedrooms can be rented for a group. Sleeps 16+ people. Enjoy great spaces such as our spacious kitchen, dining, and living rooms. There is a den with fireplace, hot tub, & pool table. The house sits on 2 acres of forest and field. Perfect for Family Gatherings or Staff Retreats or Prayer Retreats.
The space
The house sits on 2 acres of forest and field with a beautifully landscaped property next to 15 acres of public park and pond.

Other things to note: Two doorbell cameras are posted on two exterior doors for security and package delivery.

The amenities are beyond expected. There is a great room that you can't really see in the photos. The baby grand piano room, the dining room, the kitchen and sitting room are all one big great room of sorts. We had 13 adults and 3 littles from all over the country that could fly into Chicago to meet here to be together right after Christmas. The kitchen had every type of pan, bowl and kitchen utensil we needed to make big meals. We had glitches with the wifi, but we still got to watch the football games as a family. The bottle of water and clean towel on each bed was such a nice touch. For the most part we stayed at the house for the 2.5 days together and had space to play board games, card games and just be together with three great grands 2 and under. Thanks to Keith for answering any concerns we had right away with our big group. It was so nice to have a place to park 3 vehicles off the street and not have to worry about them. The driveway is a little hard to see from the main road, but it's so nice to be hidden away from the big city feel. There's a park nearby as well. This was a great place to stay!

Awesome house for a family/friend get together. So much room. Hot tub is nice. Everything is labeled which is helpful. Definitely want to come back and stay when it’s warm to enjoy the outside space. Only thing we didn’t like was that we couldn’t play on pool table as it was too close to the walls.

Keith the host was very prompt at communicating with my group and I. He understood our concern about the icy front porch steps and was accommodating to us about using a different entrance into the house. We definitely enjoyed our stay and is willing to book the place for future endeavors.

Awesome property. Very spacious, great kitchen. The driveway is a little hard to find the first time, but other than that the parking is great. Lots of towels, blankets, pillows on site!

The place was exactly as promised, and it was great for our overnight. It was great how well everything was labeled in the kitchen and elsewhere. The hosts were really responsive, which made it easy!

Great Get A Way House

Perfect for family and friends ! We had a group of 11adults and 3 children and we had room to spread out and cook meals. Loved both upstairs and downstairs living rooms and the downstairs was especially cozy with working fireplace and indoor hot tub! The house was clean and spacious and perfect for family weekends! Family Thanksgiving

Our family of 22 is too big for our home so this provided a wonderful place for more than half of the family to stay. We were able to have a family meal there easily one evening. The grandkids loved the indoor hot tub & movies. One son in law was able to get work done with the Wi-Fi. Overall, it was spacious & nice.

Pleasant experience

We were in town for my husband's funeral. My kids/grandkids and myself stayed at the house. There were 16 of us total and the house accommodated us all easily. Thank you Keith for letting us stay in your wonderful home.
