Fun visit to the Calypso at the Perry Marina
We enjoyed our stay on the Calypso at the Perry Marina. The boat was nice and had 2 bedrooms, 2 baths as advertised. The A/C was working in the salon but not in either bedroom. When we spoke to Mike about it, he said to use the numerous fans provided to push the cool air from the salon into the bedrooms. It worked fine as long as we always kept the bedroom doors open and we were 2 friends sleeping in separate bedrooms but if we’d wanted more privacy, it would have been a problem. Both bathrooms were functional but only one shower worked. That would have been good to know before we booked so we could make an informed decision about whether the Calypso was right for us. We had a few hiccups with communication (Marina entry code didn’t work, no parking pass), but Mike was responsive when we reached out with questions. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay on the Calypso and at the Perry Marina. The boat was clean, beds were comfortable, plenty of refrigeration available, and the boat was stocked with dishes, towels, toilet paper, etc. The marina is beautiful, nice bath houses, pools, bars/restaurants on site. Staff was great. We would stay on the Calypso At the Perry Marina again.
