The Neighborhood:
Location, location, location! This is nearly the best location in Joshua Tree : a few minute walk to all the downtown shops and restaurants, half a mile to the Joshua Tree National Park Visitor Center, 10 minute drive to the entrance of the National Park, 12 minutes to Yucca Valley, 18 minutes to 29Palms.

Other Things to Note:
**Please note that OUTDOOR MUSIC IS PROHIBITED PER CITY ORDINANCE. Music that is played indoors must not be heard outdoors. City ordinance states that any music that is audible from the property line is a violation. People's noise during the day is permissible but must be measured and reasonable. Daytime is considered 8:00 am to 10:00 pm. ANY FINES RELATED TO CITY ORDINANCE VIOLATIONS WILL BE PAID BY THE GUEST.

** SECURITY HOLD IS $750 AND WILL BE PROCESSED 5 DAYS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL AND RETURNED ON CHECKOUT DAY POST INSPECTION FOR DAMAGES (Does not apply to Airbnb reservations)**

This includes wiping down any and all items that guests, owners and service providers come into contact with, including keys, doorknobs, tabletops, appliances, electronics, and light switches. As well as sanitized soft surfaces and upholstery.

Re-washed Dinnerware

Housekeepers re-wash all dinnerware, including dinner plates, glasses, coffee cups and silverware, between arrivals.

We have very high standards for our property and expect it to be spotlessly clean and ready for your arrival. If you find anything to be not up to scratch or if there are any items missing, please inform us as soon as possible.

**Mail and Package Deliveries

Guests are welcome to have mail or packages delivered to the property during their stay; however, deliveries are made at the guest’s own risk. The host/owner is not responsible for any lost, delayed, or undelivered mail or packages.

Please note that the property’s mailing address is typically forwarded to an offsite location, which may cause delays or affect deliveries. Because of this, we highly recommend guests either hold their mail at the nearest post office or rent an Amazon Locker for a more secure and reliable option.

While we will do our best to assist if an issue arises, our ability to help retrieve missing items is limited and cannot be guaranteed.

**Cancellation Policy & Travel Insurance Recommendation

We understand that travel plans can change unexpectedly. To ensure transparency and fairness, we have a clear cancellation policy in place:

• 100% Refund – Guests may cancel their reservation within 48 hours of booking for a full refund.
• 50% Refund – After the 48-hour period, guests will receive a 50% refund if canceling at least 30 days before check-in.
• No Refund – Cancellations made within 30 days of check-in are non-refundable.

Because life is unpredictable, we strongly encourage all guests to purchase travel insurance to protect their investment. Once a reservation is confirmed, we offer guests the option to purchase travel insurance, which can provide coverage in the event of unforeseen circumstances.

Please note that we must adhere to our cancellation policy since the property is reserved exclusively for each guest, making it unavailable to others. If you have existing travel insurance through a provider or credit card, we recommend reviewing your coverage.

careful with what you think you are getting with this one

Pluses: attractive interior, comfortable beds, plenty of towels, generally functional kitchen, quiet neighborhood.Minuses: They sent us check instructions for the front door keypad, except they gave us 2 different key codes. When I contacted them, they said to try them both and see what works.They gave us wifi name and password. Except there was no such wifi at this facility. I searched each room until I found a router that was a completely different name and password. This one worked.They do not describe what is actually in the kitchen. I found a coffee grinder, a Mr. Coffee machine, a french press, a toaster, a hot water kettle, and a Nespresso machine (with no pods). However, they do not supply filters or coffee. And definitely no Nespresso pods.Cleaners prior to us were superficial, easy to find places they did not clear.When we arrived the toilet was nearly unflushable. I used the plunger to open it. Then it would back up repeatedly. If you have a strong plunger, bring it.The fan-light over the dining table has not operable switch and no remote. Customer service replied that there was a switch on the wall behind the couch, except the couch was not against a wall and no switch in sight operated the fixture.The message is clear. Apek does not pay attention to important details that most other rentals like this would. They could clearly outline the available appliances, operation of all systems, update their instructions, and inspect the property. I would not go back
